We're booked for a week @ POFQ for 6/17-6/24 and got the 4/3 deal. I'm now noticing the special shows available dates as 5/23-6/6 and 6/22-8/15/09. I don't remember the June dates of 6/7-6/21 not being included when I booked a in early February. Can you get the deal even if only some of the dates are included?? Also, will this be an even busier time to go? We've always visited Disney in early May, and it's been great. But our son is in no longer in year round school. So, we're stuck with summer break, spring break or Christmas for vacations. I'm not fond of hugh crowds.
:confused3

I just noticed this too....

We have our trip already booked with the 4/3 deal and our dates are June 7 - 14. I went to the Disney site just now to see what hotels were still available for our dates and I noticed the dates have changed.

I would love to know why :confused3 !!

I would also like to know why?
I checked from 6/13-6/20 and they have availability for ASMovies standard room.

ASMovies is usually the first one to go and they even have standard.

This will be our first week of vaction and I was worried it would be packed, since those dates are gone.

Anyone have any idea whats up?

I was hoping for low crowds since people belonging to touringplans say June is now 5's and 6's.

Yes they did change the dates from what they originally posted. I booked a package back in January on the 4/3 deal for June 20-June 27. I booked before they extended the 4/3 deal dates into August. As as the op noted not all of those dates are available anymore for the 4/3 deal.

I don't know why the dates changed. I assumed that they didn't have anymore rooms available for the 4/3 deal during that period -- meaning that most of the rooms that were allocated for the 4/3 deal were booked -- but that was nothing more than an assumption on my part. Perhaps once they reach a certain level of occupancy on site, either through the 4/3 deal or through other bookings, they they stop offering the 4/3 deal during those dates, again just a guess on my part.

Thank you to all who replied. I thought maybe I had a memory lapse.;)

I booked yesterday (by calling) for June 13-20 and was able to get the 4/3 deal even though the website does not include those dates....:confused3

Toots ~

I just made a reservation this morning for the same dates you will be visiting and at the same resort. I was able to get the 4/3 deal even though it indicated on the web site that the dates of 6/7-6/21 were not included. There doesn't seem to be much available though. I have been trying to get CBR since yesterday. It was available early yesterday morning, but I went to check air fare first and when I came back to book the resort, CBR was not available anymore. I checked again early this morning and both POR and POFQ were available. I checked about an hour later and only POFQ was left so I booked that. I just checked again and nothing is showing up now.

I did a double take when I saw our dates and resort matched and then when I saw your user name. My last name starts with "toot" and all of my kids have at times been called Toots as a nickname by friends or teachers over the years!

It's sure looking like those black-out dates don't mean much. Hopefully the crowd level will be okay.

We love POFQ. This will be our 5th visit alternating between POR and POFQ. I'd like to try a new resort, but we really like the boat to DTD and the lovely gardens.

Toots is just my "screen name" but is the actual name of my aunt. Her twin sister, my mother, is named Boots. I think I may have tried to use Boots but it was already taken. ;)

I just called and they said there isvery very limited availibilty for the 4/3 for those June dates that is why it is not blacked out. How true that is I don't know.

I have stayed at POR back in 1997 when it was called Dixie Landings. We almost always stay at CBR with the exception of a few short December stays at an All Star Resort. My daughter wants me to keep trying for CBR, but my son says we should stick with POFQ since it is something new and different. I'm kind of leaning towards keeping the reservation as is. I would definitely like to try the boat to DTD as we don't usually go there during our visits, but this would make it so much more easy and convenient.

to all having a trip soon, I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. We are also having a trip on December, months to go. :lmao:

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)

I wondered about this as well. I did finally get POR to show availability, but I did have to choose 9 nights(fine by me) instead of 7 to be able to book. With my arrival date of June 13 the site was showing no availability for 7 or 8 nights, but I could book 9 or 10 nights.
I assume I saved some money because I went back to see what the cost would be without clicking on the 4/3 link and it was a little over $700 more...so I have no idea about the date thing?!
