Did Boat and Bike Plan last week

We will be at BCV in Sept. Is the lake between BW and YC/BC the only place you can take the boats? That lake seems pretty small compared to WL.

Sorry I misread the post earlier.......

So BWV can go to the BC for this plan.....Or you can go to WL and use the plan there. But you only use it at the one lake area. I will be staying at BWV so may go over to BC and check this out.....

Bay Lake & Seven Seas Lagoon are MUCH bigger than Crescent Lake. You would be much better off going over to one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts to do this. Too much boat traffic in too small of an area at Crescent Lake - IMHO ;)

So it is not available at the Contemporary?

Does The Bw have a similiar plan or do you have to go to WL? We will be going home in April. Can you make arrangements ahead of arrival?

Somebody else already asked this, but I haven't seen an answer yet. What age is considered an "adult"? If teenagers have their driver's licenses, would that be the determination if they can take out a water mouse on their own?

Thanks in advance! :D

If you look back in the post - one of the people said 12 and over can drive. Is that correct anyone who has done it? We are leaving in a week and I will ask as we are thinking of doing it.

Leslie

Oops! You're right, Leslie. I looked back and there it is. 12 yrs. old is old enough. Thanks for answering!
:D

We used the plan last summer, DH, DD and a friend, and me, and it paid for itself in a couple of days. The girls were both 16, and they loved the water mice. We all did! We were there for ten days and didn't use the mice on only one day. It was great.

I thought you had to be staying at the hotel where you sign up for the plan, that you couldn't, say, stay at the Boardwalk and sign up at VWL. And I'm pretty sure the family plan is offered at the Contemporary.....

Kids have to be at least 12 years old, five feet tall....

Is there a place to find written information on this plan, say online? thanks. It sounds like a great plan.

Great post Lizzie!

We will be there in 9 days and considered the plan, but the Official DVC site also made mention of the 4 person limit, so it didn't quite fit our need. But with all you folks relating that it is for 5 people, we think it will work just fine for the 5 of us! Thank you all so much for this info:)

This may be a silly question but can you take a pontoon boat

over from the yacht club to see illuminations at Epcot?

Has anyone reading ever taken advantage of this plan at YC and

would you say it is worthwhile or is the lake simply too small?
