Did anyone watch the TvLand awards?

My kids loved seeing some of the people they've seen on TvLand, but they argued with me that some weren't the same person that was on those shows.

My ds wanted to know who Charro was. I told him it's kinda hard to describe her other than to say she's Charro.

Charo, well she was on Love Boat for a long time. Then you would have to explain Love Boat.

I'm sure it'll be on a few more times, Cindy.

I did tell him she was on Love Boat sometimes. They've watched Love Boat. I don't think he watched any epi's with her on there though.

Oh my some of those people were SO old! I watched a minute of it last night and saw the cast of Andy Griffith. I always sort of had a crush on Andy. But geez, he's about 105 now!

It was fun seeing everyone though. I saw Farrah Fawcett win sexiest person or whatever, and I gotta say she is still looking good. I'd kill for that figure - although she needs to lay off the botox.

She won the best fan club or something, Judi. She definately needs to lay off of something. My dd saw the pics of her from Charlie's Angels and said she loved her hairstyle. I told her those wings were more popular than any hairstyle I can remember.

That's not all that Farrah needs to lay off of. I think that she left most of her brain in the 20th century. Looks are definitely NOT everything.

I watched the first hour of the program, but I fell asleep after the "Sex in the City" parody. I loved the opening and was looking forward to seeing the Cowsills. I guess that I should have fired up the VCR.

Yeah, Farrah needs to lay off the Percocets too.

And awww man, I would have loved to seen the Cowsills! I didn't know they were on!

Are they going to replay this? I'd like to tape it.

It aired from 9PM to 11PM, then again from 11PM to 12:30AM (they must have not had as many commercials the second time around). I sure hope that they air it again. If not, I might check the newsgroups to see if someone has posted a digital copy of it.

If anyone hears of plans to reair this show, I'd love to hear about it too.

It looks like they'll be showing it at noon today, Judi. They showed last year's show about a million times.

I don't remember the Cowsills, TC, who are they?

I missed the last 30-minutes or so, but enjoyed what I did manage to stay awake to see.

I had been looking forward to seeing the Cowsills too, always liked their music when I was younger.

I missed the second half of it, but it was pretty good. I think Freddie Prinze, Jr. did a great job accepting the award in memory of his dad. It must be hard for him.
