Did anyone watch the Travel Channel....

today? The show was Great Hotels and it Featured the Yacht and Beach Clubs? They did a very nice job. I was pretty impressed. So who got to see the show? What did you think?

Great Hotels is my favorite show. I have also seen the Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Grand Floridian. I just love Samantha Brown. And yes, I did get to see the show today, totally by chance.

I missed it. Saw the one on the Cruise line. I suspect the YC/BC will be rebroadcast, so I hope to see it. Did it do the villas or just the original resort?

It was taped well before BCV opened, so no inclusion of the Villas. I believe she checks out VWL on the Wilderness Lodge show, however.

I've seen this one a couple of times...never stayed at that particular resort, so it's fun to see the "secrets"...(rooms I could never afford!) My friend and I are so jealous of Samantha Brown that sometimes we just can't watch!!!

I record all the specials for Disney...with DISH, I can scan out for all "Disney" programs over the next week and record the programs. My wife and kids can't stand it when I watch them..they seem to be getting used to it.

They usually re-run the whole set on Disney every six months or so. The show is called Great Hotels, then the description will indicate which hotel they are covering. The show itself is on more often, but the Disney hotels come up in the rotation about every six months.

I'm pretty sure 2 of the resorts are going to be televised tomorrow (7/16) at 5:00 and 5:30, Central Time. I think they're going to be the Yacht and Beach Club and the Grand Floridian. Does Samantha Brown need someone to carry her luggage? I'll volunteer!

Actually...I think it is way sooner than 6 months. Moreso like 6 weeks!! Just go to the Travel Channel's website and do a search for the disney hotels and you should find them listed in their program guide at regular intervals.

Maybe now that the new season of Great Hotels will be starting the Disney hotels won't show up as much.

I actually saw it early last year and called Member Services first thing the next morning to add more days to our already-scheduled trip, and then we bought add-on points at BCV. Sigh.
