I was really stupid..DH and I could have gone to WDW for the day on Sept 11 for almost nothing. Free flights from Spirit (that sold out in 8 hrs) and we have a annual pass, we would have paid for transportation to the park and just for food. I didn't think fast enough to book a flight that morning and come home that evening we could have spent all day there! We could have gotten there at 9am and left around 4pm. Stupid Stupid me!!!

Don't beat yourself up too much. It was very difficult to get onto their website the day the free fares were available. I tried several times thru-out the day and it was jammed.

But, yes, that would have been great!!

I was under the impression the return flight had to be on another day and you had to pay for that "half" of the flight (1/2 the cost of their regular RT). But it would have been really cool to have done.
