Just wondering how the concert went on Saturday??
We were walking down South St. thru New York/Production Central area and heard some music. This was about 4pm or so. We were able to watch Rick Springfield doing some sound checks etc with his band. The stage was set up across from Mel's Drive-In. They played little pieces from various songs.
Yes, I'll admit I was a fan of his back in the 80's.......so it was pretty neat. We were able to get his attention and he waved over to us while on stage...then as he was leaving to go back into the trailers he waved again.
I did not however stay for the real concert so I was just curious to hear from others who went.
