Did anyone NOT get an ADR they wanted the first days (August 13-22) of Free Dining?

We are going August 15th for a week.

I decided just yesterday to add Le Cellier to my list. The CM told me that there were already 5 days that week that Le Cellier was "closed" to new ADR's. I was able to get the 17th at 6:40 for a table of 4. I then had to juggle a few others because Boma was also not taking new ADR's for a few days that week.

Were there a few tough ADR's for you to get?

We are going August 8 - 17. We were already going then before the free dining. But, when I was making our ADR's Le Cellier was already hard to get a ADR for 5 people, I couldn't even get a good time for the first two days I tried. And that was in March. I think it is just a small popular place. This will be our first time eating there, so I'm so excited to try it!!

Going Aug 19-29 and had zero problems getting any of the ADR's I wanted. Got Le Cellier and Coral reef - the only 2 i thought would be a problem...Yesterday I called to book a supper at CRT and had no troubles getting an ADR for 6:30.

Guess we lucked out

We're going that week, too. We did our ADRs about a month ago. The only one we couldn't get was Le Cellier for Friday (the 18th), but we got it for another night that week. Other than that we pretty much had our pick of times for the restaurants we wanted.

We couldn't get 'Ohana before 8:30 for 6 of us, even if we split up. I have given up...don't have time to check every day anymore.

I waited a little too long to try and add Le Cellier sometime Aug. 21-24 and I'm out of luck. I am just going to keep hoping for a cancellation though!

I changed reservations tonight to change from HBD to WCC and Mama Melrose-fantasmic...although they are both less popular I was suprised with the choices in times...I had three to choose from at WCC and got a 5:00 at MM with fantasmic...I think other people are changing too and when those are cancelled...it works well for others...

I got all of the ADRs I wanted and all but one at the times that I desired, did have to do some juggling though to ultimately get every ADR the way I wanted it.

I booked 180 days ago and got everything I wanted, exactly when I wanted it, but now, a friend will be there at the same time and offered to let me and my BF on their fireworks cruise for free and I'm hoping to finagle. I tried to get another Le Cellier res to replace the one I have for that night, but no luck. I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze it in. I'll play with the itinerary tonight and call again tomorrow.

Got all the places I wanted, only snag I hit was Lecellier.... earliest I could get was 8:30pm... other than that everything has fit perfectly

When I first booked my trip (8/14-8/21) back in May, I had no problems getting what I wanted. Then dd decided she wanted to have dinner at 'ohana. I called for a couple of days and couldn't get in. I kept trying and eventually got in at 5pm for 4 people. I don't know if it was a cancellation or if they hold back tables but I was thrilled to get it.

I booked earlier this month for the free dining and then the day after started making my ADRs. I got everything I wanted BUT none of the times I wanted except for breakfast also for Coral Reef and Le Cellier I had to go with a late lunch instead of dinner since the only dinner times left at both places was 8:40 and we have a small child in our party that would be way too tired to eat by then..I was suprised at how quickly everything booked up and am now a little concerned about how crowded the parks are gonna be, we nornally go around the end of Aug for my bday and the fact that the parks arent as crowded.

booked back when they first offered the free dining. I wanted everything before 6pm (except Rose and Crown for Illuminations at 7:20pm) and I was able to get them.

Again, as some of you have said, Le Cellier was my only problem. Not too big of a deal.........I had to take a 4pm for our family of 5. I had a choice between that and 8pm...........with kids, the 4pm will work fine. Actually it works really well because that is our last day in the parks and we go home after that.
