Hello Ladies:

Happy New Year to all!

Did any of you make your own Disney Wedding Scrapbook?

I bought the cutest tiny Disney Wedding Photo Album off of Ebay and I wanna make a matching scrapbook with the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Scrapbook accessories they sell.
I have never made a scrapbook before.
I have looked everywhere and I am guessing they don't sell Disney Wedding Scrapbooks so........ have any of you made one?????
What did you all do for your scrapbooks?
Anybody got any pictures or suggestions???

Thanks everyone. :wave2:

I'm in the process of making a scrap book that includes the last year and all the events leading up to our wedding. My fiance is deployed in Korea so he has missed out on all the engagement cards, christmas cards, alot of the literature from DFTW, little things so I am making a book to include all of that & to leave pages blank for the wedding. It's my wedding gift to him. I just started a few weeks ago, Michaels & Target have an amazing selection. I found alot off Ebay too.

I am in the process of making my wedding album now (3 years later) and it is going to be put into a plain white album. BUT--- I have Ton's of my stuff from Disney and Disney related in it, (since it was our theme).

For many helpful suggestions try the scrapbooking/cooking Forum. They are nice ladies (and a few guys) that have GREAT suggestions.

Congrats on your recent wedding.

And be careful, scrapbooking can be addictive.

Also, Creative Memories sells a red album with a black Mickey head on the corner of the cover! It's very cute. My kids actually used it for an autograph book last time.

I am in the process of making one too with sort of the same idea as KT27! I have gotten a lot of the disney wedding scrapbook supplies from a local scrapbook store (www.stampnmemories.com), but like many of the others have said, on ebay as well! I am not sure whether they sell wedding stuff, but try www.mousememories.com! But Good Luck with it! KT27, do you have any pictures of your work? I would love to see it if you get around to posting some! :) Have fun!

I made mine a few months following my wedding. At the time they didn't have the FTW scrapbook pages though. Instead I bought a hodgpodge of pages that I liked, some dainty, some plain, as well as velum and scrpped away. I did find Cinderella die cuts (complete with castle, coach, and slipper) and added those.

I added my FTW save the date, invite, RSVP card, and a few seating cards that were saved. I included pictures that my photographer took, some of the pictures from the table cameras, ad pictures of the rehearsal. As many of my keepsakes disappeared the morning following our wedding I am lacking a few important features. However I do have a few things that I added separately including an early planning packet and estimate.

I bought my album at Michael's. It's whitish/ivory in color with pressed red petals which matches one of my wedding colors.

Go on to Disneydirect.com and they have a section on Disney scrapbook stuff, including actual scrapbooks and then accessories (like stamps, etc). I plan on making one for our wedding too!

I bought a dark green ( one of wedding colors) book at michaels and went to town. I used wedding stuff I had picked up in my travels to scrapbook stores, etc.
For any disney brides/honeymooners that have a Cindy theme EK success makes some really cute 3d stickers of cindy in her wedding gown and there is a glass slipper like sticker too. This stuff can be bought at mousememeries, michaels and a lot of scrapbokk stores.

I am going to make my scrap book (I did one for the wedding of us pre-wedding). It IS addictive. What are the DFTW scrapbook stuff and where do you get that?? I haven't heard of it and it sounds like it would simplify the process!! Creative Memories does make the small disney book--but i find it to be TOO small for my huge memories;-) I am using their white wedding book with the front picture exposed...

Yeah i would love to know where you can get hat stuff from, i want to make one and include our planning sessions etc!

The FTW paper pack is a kit avalible from disney world and i'm sure dl has it too. The kit includes 2 of 2 differant die cut frames, 8 sheets paper and some stickers the kit retails for 15.00+ tax and can be found in most disney shops. I saw it at WOD, World of memories(DTD scrapbook store), MK Exposion hall, any hotel gift shop i wandered into. I think i may even have one someone bought me that i never used.

I "think" that CM has come out with the Disney album in 12x12. I will check and get back to you.

Edited to add that I must have been wrong about the Disney 12x12 album.

Hello ladies:
Unfortunately....Disney World does not sell the Disney Wedding Scrapbook sets anymore. I spent the month at Disney (for my wedding and honeymoon) and asked a few times this month (just to make sure I wasn't given the wrong information) They said they were discontinued and they were all sent to a Disney Outlet store in Orlando. However...you can get them on ebay for like $15. Get yours before they are all gone!
Thanks
Gabrielle

You just have to go on to this site. It is Disneydirect.com, but here is the specific link to the scrapbook page: Disney Scrapbooks. I love this site! If you live in Canada, expect to pay around $30 for shipping, no matter how much you get, and the delivery company will send you a bill later for the customs fee. Last time the delivery guy came (he's been here a lot!) he asked "what are you guys doing in there, making a Disney car?" We may have an obsession!

P.S. They don't have Disney Wedding Scrapbooks, but they are still Disney related, better than nothing!

we are getting a fantastic album from our photographers, but I am planning to put together a scrapbook as well, since there are a lot of non-pro photos I'd like to put together...

Just as a disclaimer, I am not a CM consultant nor do I have any connection to Creative Memories.

Checkout the scrapbooking boards here on DIS (under Creative Community) for lots of ideas. I've been scrapbooking for 6 years but I'm nervous about starting our wedding album. I usually scrap with fun colored paper, stickers, lots of journaling, but for our wedding album I want to keep it simple and elegant. I'm planning to do the honeymoon album first - it will be easier and more fun. I know lots of girls who have been married for 2, 4, and 6 years and haven't started their albums yet, so I don't feel so bad :rotfl:

Mommy Poppins...you meant they DO have one, right? I just received mine. It is cute! I didn't get a look at it before it came (since it was so new, they didn't have it in the catalog)...I was hoping it would look like the smaller one, but I'm still happy with it.

That is a great idea about using the 7x7 as an autograph book! I think I'm going to do that and block off the sections where I plan to put pics so that I can add them later and not have to cover any signatures.

Yeah, typo...sorry! My kids love the 7x7 as an autograph book and the characters appreciated having something larger to hold onto. We just took a few black scrapbooking pens along and had the character sign on one side and then added the picture to the other side.
