Yup - it's me again - the "Queen Of Rescheduling" - LOL.. :)

Had a talk with my DD the other night and her MIL has asked her to go to Florida with her in March to visit family (she's afraid to travel alone) so the in-laws are going to buy the airline tickets we have (spoke to SW and there's no problem with changing my ticket to a ticket for her - and the other 2 will stay the same - my DD and granddaughter) so that means I can go back to what I originally wanted to do way back when!!! Plan a trip to Disney when the Christmas decorations are up and we can attend the MVMCP - hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

That was the whole purpose of the trip to begin with and I was SOOOOO looking forward to it that I was having a REALLY tough time trying to work up any enthusiasm to go at a different time of year..

Anyhow.. Because my granddaughter will be in 1st grade then we want to try to limit the number of days she'll miss school so we were thinking of flying down the day before Thanksgiving or so and coming back maybe the middle of the following week..

Can anyone tell me how bad the crowds were then? And what the weather was like?

Any suggestions or advice in regards to that time frame?

We're going to get to Disney sooner or later - honest, we are!!!!!!! :teeth:

C. Ann, I haven't toured WDW on the day before Thanksgiving but I was there on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving and the crowds were really huge.

I think though, with careful planning and using fastpass you will be alright.

We were there for our wedding (Nov. 22nd!) November 19th-27th. It was absolutely dead until about Tuesday (2 days before Turkey day). I have never seen a place go from empty to full so fast. On the plus side though it was still manageable. I have seen it much busier for spring break, summer weekends, Christmas, and New Years. Just don't expect it to be dead by any means. Master your fastpass use and you'll have a great time! We're planning on going back for our 1st anniversery!

C.Ann, I went in 2000 the week of Thanksgiving and don't remember it being too bad.

We are going the same time as you! Pop Century from 11/24 to 11/28 (Wed to Sun). We are taking my daughter's friend with us. I just loved eating Thanksgiving dinner at the pool last time. So different from what we do up here!
