I called at 10:15 Eastern and was told that there were no AP rates for FW, but she didn't know if there weren't any, or they had just all been taken. I'm just wondering if anyone else was able to get one? There was also no AAA available, so I'm paying $79 for a preferred in May (OUCH!).

Yes I DID!!!

I called about 8:45 central and was on hold for about 40 minutes but I did get an AP rate for May 23rd+. My savings will only be $50 for the entire week and I'll probably pay about that much for the phone call.

I also had a AAA rate before I changed to an AP, call now and maybe you can get my old AAA rate, LOL!!!

I got through right at 7:00 and was told no ap rate for a preferred site 6-20 to 7-6 I think the preferred sites are booked solid in that time period so I guess I can see why they wouldn't bother with an AP rate.

This is classic....

I just received my annual pass holders advance notification email. Just now. Mousesavers announced the discounts hours ago..............

On hold right now trying to see if our May and June rates will change.

Glad I have 600 free anytime minutes per month.

John

I didn't even think of using my cell phone! I hope you get your discount. They had me in a pet loop for the end of May and I got my AP rate.

Just got the discount for May and now there seems to be a problem for our June (Anniversary) stay. Still holding.

And time marches on, glad it's free!

John

Gee, maybe she is taking a lunch break :rotfl2:

Just got it

I tried earier and after being on hold for more than a half hour they asked for my phone number to call me back. They said they were having system problems--that only some resorts were coming up for AP discounts--not all. I've never had that happen before (have someone offer to call me back) Did anyone else?

What type of hook up do you guys have?

Maybe it's only for non-preferred? I'd change to full, but there's no availability.

Or maybe it's because it's Memorial Day week?

Hi all

We got full hook up AP discount for April 30- May 7 at 59.10 tax included.
There is an 800 number for those of us who hate to use minutes long or cell
1-800-828-0228. I made my sister call since I had to take baby to the doctor and she was on hold for over an hour. Good luck to any who are still trying to get through!

I was on the phone with a CM at 7:04 this am. I was told by her that the only discounts available at the campground was for partial hook up only? :confused3 . She was not going to investigate it any further. I hung up, called back and was on hold for 1 hour. Was told by a CM that the computers were down and I would have to call back later. I called back later and was told that the discounts were only given in 10 day incriments. He checked for the dates, but I was told nothing was available. I just called back again and the CM checked every date that I am going to be there and was again told nothing was available? I can't figure this whole thing out because I am arriving June 11 and not leaving until July 31! I know the second reservation is not available because it does not start until July 10, however, I am there for about 24 days for the first reservation, but not one day could be found for June? :confused3 :confused3 I am not going to give up hope and will keep trying back or hope that general codes will come out. With this said, I am not expecting a discount, only hoping!!! I will go for the 7 weeks with or without the discount, but a small savings would be great. I think it is definately worth the effort to keep trying!! Good luck to all that try.

This exact thing happened to my sister! She was on the phone with me this afternoon (like after 1 pm) and she told me that the discounts were coming out TOMORROW since WDW sent the ADVANCE notice. I popped onto the boards to give people the heads up.......only to see that not only did everyone already know, but most people were saying that there was no longer anything left. :badpc: She's not going til Sept., but since I'm the one who places all her reservations for her (doesn't like calling Disney :confused3 ), I don't think I'll be placing much faith in their advance notices!! :sad2:

Well not only am I now a DIS addict, I am a mousesavers addict; I check it religiously first thing every a.m.

Called twice myself today. Once right at 7:00, got thru about 7:40 and told nothing available. My ressie starts July 2 and goes thru to July 31. I was just looking for the first couple days, figuring I'll get the rest when the next set of codes comes out. CM said the AP rate only went to the 4th and couldn't go any further. Anyhow, he said there was nothing.

This didn't sit right with me, so I called later in the morning and got a much better CM. He said that the AP rate could go for 10 days at FW. He tried, but again nothing came up. His assumption - and mine - was that the AP rate was not being applied at FW this time. Now I see that people did get the rate. I don't get it! Makes me wonder whether I should call again tomorrow and ask why other people were able to get the rate.

Anyone got any ideas?

I would definitely call back!! Doesn't make any sense why they told you it wasn't available at that hour of the morning. I wonder why WDW is limiting the discount codes to 10 days on one reservation. This is new. In most cases before, as long as you checked in during one day during the period that the code could be applied, that rate would be applied to your entire stay. So many new rules.....................

I called back again this morning and spoke to Rochelle. I noted the time to be 7:02. I was also told 10 day increments, but nothing came up. She told me that her computer would not tell her exactly what days may be available and also stated the Florida resident rates were out and they were going to be busy again today. That statement led me to believe that she was not going to check days individually. That and she also said, "is there anything else I can help you with today". I don't understand the whole process :confused3 . Like the other poster, I will be there from June 11 to July 31 and not one day was available? I give up. I will go even without the discount, did not expect they give us one, but would like to take advantage of the fact that one was offered.

I called last night around 7:30 or so and I was told that there were not any partial hookup sites available for my dates (June 3-5) for any cost - even full price.

I called this morning at about 9 AM on a whim, and after being on hold for 30-40 minutes, I was given a partial hookup for $39 a night. He said it was available with passholder discount and FL resident discount.

I can't remember from when we've camped before how this rate compares to what I've gotten in the past. I think we camped in a partial hookup last time for $29 a night, but maybe I'm remembering wrong. Oh well - it's still a discount. Now I just have to see if I can talk DH into taking a day off of work so we can make this trip work easier!

Melissa R,

Thanks for your posting. The same thing happened to me. I called around 7:15 pm last night and after being on hold for 45 mintues I was told that for June 3rd - 6th no codes were available for partial hookups. After reading your posting today I called and I was told that the codes were available for the $39 per night.

Thanks again you saved me money $$$$$

Debbie :goodvibes

I called yesterday and was unable to get the AP rate. I called today and was able to get the Fla resident discount of $39.00 per night. Our dates are 5-21 to 5-23.

I called again today. CM said I didn't get anything because of system problems. She checked again but said everything was taken. She was quite apologetic. I can't believe it! I called twice yesterday, once right at 7 am! They must know how busy their system will be on these days - and this is not the first time this has happened. I hope everything goes smoothly when the summer codes come out - not!
