I received mine today, and the prices aren't too bad to me. ;) You have a choice of: Wyoming/Canadian Rockies/Hawaii/Costa Rica/London/Paris/Italy. DOES NOT include Roundtrip airfare from your city to destination however. :confused3 They are mostly from 6-9 nights and include Hotel/tours and some meals. ;)

I received mine, and these adventures are definitely worth thinking about for sometime in the future. I'm just wondering how "disney" it is, or do they just use the disney name? I'd love to take one of these adventures, but somehow still feel the disney magic. I hope the people who experience these vacations will post about them.

I think it is Disney, as it is run by the Disney Corporation, to a dregree. You can use a Travel Agent or Concierge Agent!

We got ours. It looks really cool. I would love to got to Europe. And if it's in Disney style it can't be a bad time!

Thats for sure! :thumbsup2 I am considering this, as I would trust the DISNEY company more than any one else! :)

Where can I get one?
I just typed in Adventures By Disney, and it had all the info, including how to order a brochure.

I got mine today. I think we're going to head to Italy next year. Does anyone know how many people go on each trip?

Yes, 30-40 travelers and the prices are double/triple/quadruple occupancy.

I got my brochure awhile back and have been debating about going this summer. I think I've finally decided to go next year to either Hawaii or Europe.

I looked through the brochure and a lot of the trips sound awesome, especially if you have kids.

I've been on a couple of guided tours (in Italy, Greece and Egypt) and for the most part, they are NOT kid friendly. Long days, lots of museums/churches etc.

These Disney run trips look like a great balence of touring and fun. I also like the idea that parents get some free time for a dinner or something (I think that I saw that on the Costa Rica trip and the Italy trip)

Comparing it to other higher class tour groups (like Abercrombie and Kent) the prices seem reasonable, the hotels seem high quality and I would imagine the guides are very good. Although we don't have kids quite yet, I'm thinking that the Costa Rica trip sounds like a blast!

I'm afraid to even look at it. If Dh see's it he may want to go on one instead of WDW. Everyone in my house is convienced WDW is the only family trip for us.

:cool1: :cool1:

I did the Hawaii trip last year. It was fabulous.

The Hawaii trip would be fine for a child 6 or older.

All the details were handled in perfect Disney fashion.

I liked it so much that I'm going back in July this year.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

We got ours this weekend. There are quite a few I would love to do. I agree the pricing is not bad at all. Unfortunately I have to wait for my youngest to get older. I think in the fine print it stated that kids need to be at least 8 years old. :( She is only 2 so I'll have to wait awhile. Maybe I could convince DH to let me take DD11 on one os those trips. :lmao: :rotfl:

I got mine...our DDs are a little young for them still (ages 4.5 and 2) but DD4.5 looked at the book with me, and apparently wants to go white water rafting. Not sure who she got her adventurous streak from, but I dont know if I want to do that even!

We're hoping to do the Italy trip next year for my DD's 16th birthday. Just waiting for them to release the 2007 dates!

As far a having "Disney" touches, I know at least with the Italy trip there is one night in Tuscany (I believe) that you watch a classic Disney movie under the stars!

Can't wait!

I just got the booklet today and it looks nice, however, I think the prices are a little steep for the kids. Of course I've never traveled to Hawaii or abroad, but since kids stay free at hotels the prices just seem really high for the included meals and the activities. I also noticed you can only take one checked bag and one carry on which seems weird since the airlines let you travel with 2 checked bags and one carry on.
