Did anyone get AP rate at YC or BC?

I just got on the passholder website last night to check availability and was able to get Beach Club standard view for $194/night for
July 22-25. I had previously not been able to get these dates so I went ahead and booked it online.

I had also previously obtained Beach Club standard view for June 8-10 at $269/night (a total of 3 rooms to start the big family trip), but I booked these through CRO within the first 5 minutes after the codes were released.

So...the moral of the story is....Keep Checking

Well I finally gave up. We booked a townhouse in WH for our week.

I tried everything but with our vacation dates set in stone due to work we just didn't want to wait any longer to have something booked.

Maybe we'll join the "code race" again in December or maybe not if the townhouse is as nice as its supposed to be.

I was told by a CM that there were not even any full price rooms available at YC or BC July 14-21. I called the morning the AP rates were released. Called throughout the day--nothing. Finally, changed dates to 7/8-7/15 and got Boardwalk at the $194 rate. The CM said he didn't see how any rooms could be released later for the 7/14-7/21 date because they were at capacity. He said that was apparently going to be a very busy week. Hope we like the Boardwalk. WL is our absolute favorite but no AP discount.

OP here. So, now here's the deal with me. It MAY be best for me to change my trip dates from 7/21 - 7/29 to early July. Long story - has to do with work. So, I called and booked the BC at the $269 AP rate for 7/1 - 7/8. I kept my Poly ressie for 7/21 because depending on how a few things work out, I may still go then.

Such is the life of the self-employed. One never knows when one's gig will be up and when the next one will begin. I wouldn't trade my self-employment status for the world, BUT it can make planning Disney trips difficult.

So - it seems like the discounts are available pretty much before 7/14. Then, after that it's dicey. I'm talking about YC or BC.

Who knows what my final trip dates will end up being...but I want to keep a close eye on this situation.

Don't give up! I booked 7/24 - 7/31 tonight - standard room at the Beach Club at the AP rate.

Last week I could only get 2 nights Yacht Club and the rest at Boardwalk.
