Did anyone get 40% off anytime until Dec. 31?

I called and they said I had this pin so I booked CBR for Christmas week. I can check in on any date- no black outs. This seems so unbelievable and I have not heard of anyone else talking about it.

Really? Christmas week? I just booked POFQ for Christmas week and asked, but nothing. I'm paying full rack rate No AAA or anything. What rate did you get?

The rate I got was about $149 a night, that includes tax. Some nights were a little more, some less. They did not tell me the name of the pin- just that I had it and it was room only. In fact, they did not know what % off it was until they plugged in dates and figured it out. I think it's 40% off. I also asked if there was a certain date I had to check in by, he said no. I've talked to 3 different CMs about these rates ( I keep wondering what kind of deal this is) and they all keep giving me the same answer, and the price comes up the same. I never received a postcard or email for the rate, and was told about it in May or early June when I called.
I guess I just got lucky. We cancelled our June trip today. I am recovering from a broken foot and it would be to hard for us to go, so this code is helping me get over the disappointment.

Wow! $149 for Christmas week is a great rate. The last time I got a discount during that week was after 911. We are paying $246 with taxes at POFQ this year. I wish I could find something better. Good for you

we booked on the "Goofy" code that came out in April for Free DP....our trip had to start by 12/17..our dates are 12/17-27...CSR @ rack rate, but free DP the whole time. CM did not mention anything about specific days other than we have to check in by the 17th for the free dining promo to be valid and we ahve to purchase 1 day MYW tix for each person in our party..the usual package requirements.
Congrats on the room code, I would actually prefer that as the 17th is tough for us to travel by. Sounds like it was meant to be with the foot and all...here's to quick healing...a code like that certainly will help you feel better!
