Just curious, did anyone flying a non-participating airlines receive their ME packet? We are doing a Magical Gathering of 20 relatives with more than half using ME and no one has received their packet. SW and Air Tran are the airlines we are using. I know we don't need the tags to make everything work but with most of the family visiting WDW for the first time a bad start could put a serious damper on our Family Reunion. I do know that some people arriving on May 22nd have received their packets but their not in our MG party and live in a different state. I wonder if it is area related, we're from Maryland or is it Hotel package related since we are DVC members?

I called ME and verified all information. They were of little help. My fingers are crossed that the packets will still arrive before we leave.

Any advice would be appreciated, beside rent a car

Since the DME tags are only used on the flight from your originating city to MCO, and since on that leg of your trip there's no such thing as a "participating airline," there's no rhyme or reason why people flying on participating airlines would get preferential treatment.

To more directly answer your question, I flew to WDW on May 8 on a non-participating airline and received my DME tags in the mail from my TA on May 7.
