Did anyone enjoy Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch or dinner?

We have done breakfast there before, but were wondering about lunch or dinner? Are the menus the same for both? The price has really gone up during the time we will be at WDW. Has anyone tried the vegetarian options there as well? Thank you for any input!

I personally do not like eating here. It is very rushed, and the food just isn't that good. And the characters speed past you. We've eaten breakfast and lunch here, and have had the same problems both times. I know it's nice to be inside the castle, but I just don't think it's worth it for the prices they charge.

We have been there twice for breakfast and ate supper there last September (on the DDP). We were one of the last reservations of the evening so we never felt rushed at all. The food was as good as breakfast and the setting sun outside gave a really nice atmosphere. This time was by far my wife's favorite- I could tell it was a magical moment for her.

Bottom line- if we are on the DDP we will try our best to go back for supper next time we are at WDW, although we would be really happy with breakfast if that is all that is available.

We had lunch there about 4 years ago & it was very nice. The food was good and all the princesses were very sweet to my daughter who was 4 at the time.

We just ate dinner there in December and it was pretty awful. The food was gross and the bathrooms were the dirtiest bathrooms in all of Disney. It would take a lot of twisting my arm to go back. If I did go back, I would do the breakfast and pay OOP.

We had dinner there in August and loved it. The food was good and dd LOVED the princesses.

Would not have breakfast again but we have done dinner twice and really enjoyed it both times.

We had lunch there. It was okay. We just loved the fact that we were eating in the castle.

We had dinner there. I thought the food left a LOT to be desired. It tasted like the chef accidentally dropped the entire container of salt in it.
That being said, my daughters LOVED it and it was one of the first places they mentioned when I asked where they wanted to go back to eat again. So for them I plan on trying it again, this time for breakfast.

We had dinner there in October and it was wonderful. We did not feel rushed at all and the food was very good. The princesses just doted on DS and he just loved it. I think it was also the highlight of DH's trip as well since he talks about it quite a bit (It was his first Disney trip as well as DS's)

It was incredibly special for me. My parents never did stuff like that for me when I was little, so being able to splurge, dine in the castle, have DS get kisses from Cinderella and then the other princesses, it was wonderful. DS even had the waitress sign his autograph book. She was so great too.

We loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat. For us, it was worth it because it was just magical for all three of us. :thumbsup2

We have eaten lunch there 3 or 4 times (last in Sept.) and I had always gotten the pork tenderloin (very good) which was replaced on Sept trip with a chop. DH got the chop and liked it, I got Major ?? pie (good).

The biggest disappointment in Sept. was that they NO LONGER have the Chocolate Cream Cheese Buckle dessert.

Our 1 CRT dinner I got the prime rib and it was really "fatty" but they had the Chocolate buckle and that made up for it. They have a new dinner menu now too.
EVERYONE should try it once IMO. The cost covers everything, including the tip.

I've been wondering, when does CRT usually close for the evening? We want to eat dinner there next trip but we usually eat between 7-8. Is that going to be too late?

We had lunch there in September and had a wonderful experince. My meal was soo good and my daughter was in awe of the princess' the whole time. They were so sweet with her. We never felted rushed at all. My poor dh was so sick from motion sickness that he didn't get to eat a bite of food though. Our experience overall was great.

I can't help you with the vegitarian options though sorry :(

I was VERY hesitant about eating here for dinner since it is just DH and I, no kids.

But we did it and I have to admit that we had the BEST time!!
We were seated right by the window, which IMHO is the best view in the World! Ahh, overlooking Fantasyland is awesome. :cloud9:

Our service was great and we did not feel rushed at all. And our food was delicious. We would definitely go back.

We've ate there 3 times for lunch and while the kids and I liked our food, DH did not. We never felt rushed. The princess' were very attentive to DD.

We are going on a couple only trip this time, so we won't be eating there...but if DD was coming and wanted to eat there I am not sure DH would want to. It is probably his least favorite eating experience we have had at Disney. Sorry, I can't remember what he got, but he tried something different twice.

We usually do lunch. As a previous poster mentioned, there has been some menu changes.. my DH usually get the pork, and last month it was a pork chop. Also, the desserts have changed.

My DD8 has a peanut allergy and the same chef usually comes out and takes care of both of girls.. it's usually one of our favorite character meals.

Also, I love the Major Domo pie!! YUM!!

We've never felt rushed.. we do not care for the commotion for checking in and then getting the picture done with Cinderella downstairs. Once we clear that and head upstairs, we relax and find the food to be good, and the princesses are good too.

I love CRT for lunch. Add me in as another Major Domo's pie fan. Yum!

I think it's beautiful during the day with all the natural light streaming in.
