It makes me so sad to know that something that's made to bring happiness and joy to families of all ages is being spoofed to preach hate and destruction.

I'm just horrified. I watched a video clip of the show too. Heartbreaking.

Yes, I saw this on Good Morning America. I just can't imagine living with hate like some people do. My hubby has been in Afghanistan for the last 15 months and unfortunately he sees CHILDREN with a lot of hate for American's. How incredibly sad for the children!

I don't want to go off on a socio-political rant but they knew what they were doing when they picked Mickey Mouse. There was a point to it. They just didn't expect the rest of the world to find out so quickly and now they have the proverbial egg on their faces.

I saw this a few days ago - it's sick - at least they've pulled it for now. Truth is, there is programming like this all over the Mideast - this network chose the wrong icon to use as a mouthpiece because it is SO recognizable as Mickey... but there are other shows spewing the same thing to kids.

Yeah, I know. And that's what's even sadder about it. I can't imagine living in a world that's so bad that it seems not only necessary but a good thing to encourage hatred like that, and in that way. I know the world's not all rosey, but children should be able to be children, wherever in the world they live.
