Anyone call today to book Pres. week 7 months out? If so, did you get what you wanted? And at which resort did you book?

Yes, I booked 5 days at Vero -- started a thread about it. No problems with "walking" reservations yet.

It's 7 months already?! I guess we'll stay at BCV (reserved at 11 months). I meant to see if anyone wanted to stay anywhere else this trip. We haven't been to BCV in a few years so that will be good.

Called this morning and got 2/15-2/21 at OKW. My home resort is SSR. Tried AKV, but couldn't get 2/15.

Called yesterday for a dedicated 2 bdrm @ OKW. Called at 9 am got right through and made our reservation. See you all there!

Hi! I called Monday (7/14 at 6:00 a.m. PDT) to start a pre-cruise WDW visit (starting 2/14/09) and wanted BCV, 2-bedroom as we're doing a whole blowout with my sister and her family for our first DVC trip (3 years worth of points, plus signing points, plus transferred points!!).

We wanted BCV for proximity to the parks, but were put on the waiting list and reserved at SSR. VWL was mentioned as a possibility, so I called again today (7/16) to see if we could do a split ressie from 2/16-1/19 for either BCV or VWL, and as MS person was going to transfer us to VWL for the last three days of the trip, she mentioned the amount of points already booked and as I was confused, she explained that my wait list had already come through and I was already booked at BCV for the entire time! I was ecstatic and told her to keep it that way.

So dreams do come true!

Hope that makes someone's day and keeps your hopes up; it sure made mine!

Oh - P.S. the 15th seemed to be the tough day to get - maybe a lot of long weekenders vs. those of us staying longer (since we're coming 3,000 miles).

I will be calling next week to try and change from a studio at BCV to a Preferred View Studio at BWV (I will also ask for Boardwalk view but I am not holding out for that one) for the week after Presidents week (2/21 - 2/27) and I am hoping to get lucky! My DH and DD have never stayed at BWV. Has anyone had any luck at BWV??

I called yesterday trying to change from AKV-2 bedroom Standard view to either Boardwalk either view or VWL but neither was available. Waitlisted for Boardwalk-standard but am not to concerned if it does not come through since we have not stayed at AKV yet.

Mom duty called so I did not get on the phone till 9:15 but only on hold about a minute. I will try and change the next week also to OKW if possible.

We are taking family both weeks and trying to get the resort I think they will like best. We have not stayed DVC yet so I'm happy with anything.

I called yesterday at 9am and got through easily. I was looking for a 2 bedroom at BWV or BCV, both were booked. Looking for 2-15 to 2-20. 2-15 seemed to be the busy day. I was abled to get a 2 bedroom at VWL and waitlisted BWV and BCV.

I called today around 11 to change from a studio at BCV to a studio at BWV for February 21 - 27 (which is the week after Pres. week). I was very excited when I was told they had a Boardwalk view studio available ! Needless to say, it is not available any more because I quickly booked it and canceled BCV.

I was surprised to get my ressie with no problems, not realizing we were so close to president's week. Everyone wants 2/15, so I guess that's whay our 2/20 - 2/27 ressie was so easy to get at BCV!

I just called an hour ago and made studio RES at AKV for 2/13 and 2/14, but couldn't get 2/15 and had to waitlist. Seems that is the toughest day to get.

I called on Saturday 7/18 to make a Presidents Week vacation.

This will be my 1st time @ Disney for Presidents Week. I had no idea that it was the 7 month window.

But needless to say I am happy I got 2/15 through 2/20 Sunday to Friday.

I am taking the train with my DD so we will get on the train 2/14 and should be back home by 2/21. The ticket prices are reasonable and hopefully my daughter will make it through the 21 hrs because I have been checking the airline tickets and they are out of control.

This post reminded me to call, thanks. I called today, and was really worried nothing would be available for that week. But to my surprise I was able to get a 2 bedroom at SSR. The only resorts available was SSR and OKW.

i called on 2/11 and got 2/11-2/14 akvalue studio. we are then going on the 2/14 7 night cruise. wanted to spend least amount of points as this is a prequel to our cruise and that will be the big blowout vacation
