Did anybody buy the Spiderman DVD?

We bought the Widescreen version of Spiderman on-line at Boarders, DH got a gift certificate for his birthday. Well, he got it and it says Widescreen on the box, on the cd, but he played it and it is Fullscreen! Anyone else get a screwed up version?

Yes, we bought the widescreen too and it plays widescreen. That's strange that yours doesn't.

Any chance the DVD has a place in the menu where you can choose widescreen or pan & scan? Surely Borders would exchange if need be.

Check the dvd player too. Ours can change the view to fit the screen so we can buy either widescreen or full screen.

We got Widescreen and I honestly don't remember...LOL! I saw it twice at the movies so wasn't paying very much attention to the DVD. Hummm I'll have to rewatch and see.
