I was just curious.....
I was at Alien Encounter when there, then the new Stitch Attraction....
In My Opinion, it was, well, how can I say it, pretty bad....kind of awful.
No adult in our group liked it.
Maybe it is to appeal to kids ages 8-12. It just seemed ummmmmmmm stupid.
Just wondering if its getting "rave" reviews or will it eventually be changed to something else. :wizard: princess:

No one in our group, 13 and up to 44 liked Stich. We all want Alien Encounter back!

While I loved Alien Encounter I can honestly say that I do not hate Stich. I quess you can put me firmly in the like column.

We skipped the Stitch ride because we had been on it shortly after it opened.
It is lame.
Alien Encounter was much better.
Disney is so phenomenal most of the time. This is not one of those times.

Stitch is our favorite character and we couldn't wait to go see the attraction when it opened. What a horrible disappointment (although the chili dog smell is nice!) :sunny:

We have been on the minority in this, but my DW and I both enjoyed the ride. Our DD (5) also enjoyed it a lot.

Well, I LOVE the Stitch character and the Lilo and Stitch movies, but this ride was a big disappointment. I, my mother, and grandmother both hated this ride. My 7 year old brother, on the other hand loved it.

I don't hate it. I probably wouldn't go on it each trip. What I like about it is that my DS5 gets such a huge kick out of it. I know he is probably in the minority there, but I can get into it becasue he is. I can completely understand the disappointment people have with it. Next time you all go I'll let you take my son on with you, maybe he can help you all enjoy it a little more!! They probably could do with adding...something though!!

I loved it!! Thought it was fun. Definatley not as bad as Winnie the Pooh, cardboard cutouts anyone?

I finally got to go on this attraction. I do agree that the Alien Encounter was better but, I didn't hate Stitch's Great Escape though. I thought it was kinda cute. Just my humble opinion. Oh and from what everyone was saying about the horrible chili dog smell, I was preparing for the worst and I didn't think it was that bad. I mean, it wasn't gag-me bad. But again, thats just my opinion. :goodvibes

I loved Alien Encounter. I like Stitch's Great Escape. If they said that they would give me back AE but they had to take away Stitch, I'd say "go ahead".

My three friends and I went on it this September when we went and we loved it and thought it was very cute! My best friend and I were laughing the whole time! By the way I Love Lilo & Stitch, they are a couple of my fav.!

I liked it quite a bit. I liked the story. I was a little disappointed with the deus ex machina ending, but most of the Magic Kingdom rides suffer the same fate.

I look at it as a tech-ed up version of a Fantasyland ride.

I agree, I like Stitch & Lilo, But this attraction was really dumb. There you are, all strapped in, harness tight and secure and then.........you sit there. My nephews ages, 8 and 11, thought it was okay, nothing great. But as I mentioned, all 12 others in our group thought is was quite "lame". A tad disappointed in it. Disney Imagineers could have done loads better!
I wouldn't go on it again.

I liked it, maybe its because I like stitch so much but I thought that it was much cuter than AE. When AE was there I saw so many kids comming out crying so I think that this is nicer and not so scary for the little ones.
Everyone I know said they loved it.

We were there last year, and i didnt like stitch the ride. My sister had gone in 2000, for Alien Encounter, and she said it was awesome! So going with that expectation of what Alien Encounter was.... say the least i was a little disappointed in the new ride....

I think is just Disney being Disney again. It doesn’t matter whether Stitch is better than AE, what matters is who can sell more merchandise. As many of you said, Stitch is a very popular character and will bring in way more $$ than AE. I mean, if Disney cared which attraction was better or more popular, obviously, Mr. Toad would still be at WDW. But Toadie can’t compete with Pooh and his friends in merchandising and it is hard to compete with a popular character like Stitch…

Oh! I thought it was just me! I love Pooh and Tigger and Eeyore, etc., and was so looking forward to the Winnie the Pooh ride. But I thought it was really lame and looked like something a high school art class could have put together. But I read recently that it has "amazing special effects" so I think I must have missed something? :confused3

I've been on it a few times and none of us liked it. The first time I brought my 5yo and then went again that same visit with my sister and our 82yo mom. None of us liked it. Then the next month I brought my 11yo son. I hadn't told him anything about it and he thought it was stupid. Seems that an 11yo boy would be the target audience and if he didn't like it the ride is in trouble.

did not like the ride (and we are usually big Stitch fans). I think it is a waste of some prime real estate!
