Has anyone purchased discounted tickets through their work? We have Corestream at my work and I'm showing 5 day park hoppers with maxpass for $429 - that seems to be the cheapest I can find. It does say that you need to print the ticket and present at the gate. Which seems like the only down side. Other discounts seem to be $440 - so that's about $10 in savings.

I'm planning on updating to a flexpass sometime during my trip so hoping I can get the full value to apply towards AP.

I think LMTC is cheaper. 330 or so for ticket then MO would add $75.

But I heard that when you convert a ticket to an AP that if you add Maxpass each day that amount doesn't get applied to the AP cost but if you buy it as part of the ticket the full amount gets applied towards the AP. So I'm looking at $470(current from Disney.com) being applied towards an AP VS $395 (from disney.com) and the $75 would be the one time Maxpass cost that would only be used for those 5 day.

If I was just buying tickets I think LMTC is the way to go but looking to upgrade to an AP so looking to get get as much from my discount ticket when I upgrade.

OPs have stated some of them got the daily MP fee added to the credit when upgrading, but they had to go to the ticket booth and get a supervisor. If you buy it with the ticket like it sounds like you are doing, it will all get applied to your AP upgrade, but I think you have to buy MP for your AP (I don’t think they would apply the value paid for MP if you only bought a regular FP, instead of the FP with MP). That said, the price you have does beat UCT, which is where we bought our tickets that we upgraded to FP in October. However, make sure the place you are buying from does not charge fees or taxes on the tickets which might make them more expensive. You should not be charged tax on theme park tickets purchased in California.

I do not know where you live so I do not know if this will apply to you. My daughter looked at getting discount tickets from her work and they would have charged local sales taxes, so that put the price a few dollars over the regular Disneyland ticket prices. Needless to say she did not buy tickets from her work, we got them through another authorized dealer and had a great time with the grandchildren.
So the short version is to check out all your options with authorized dealers.
