Diary of A Wimpy Kid

The only thing I really didn't like (it being a kids movie) was the use of "freakin'" in there. That's a pet peeve of mine and definitely not something I want my child to repeat.

I used to have a terrible habit of using that word and used it around my kids enough that my then 2-yr-old picked up on it. We were at some store with him in the back of the cart and he said "Move, freakin lady" to an elderly woman who was in our way. She didn't quite hear him or understand him, but I was mortified. Cured my potty mouth!

I WISH the kids around here would use freakin---the 5th graders have moved way past freakin and I sure miss those freakin days!!!! Even going on field trips I cringe at the language coming out of their mouths!

DS (8) just saw this. He was disappointed-liked the books MUCH better.
