Diaper Dream

Probably due to the fact that I'm entering my 2nd trimester of preg #2, I'm having a lot of dreams lately. Last night I had a dream that we were in line for an attraction, we had been there for quite a little while, and DD, turning 2 a week after our visit, announces that she has gone #2, though not in those words. Of course, I need to change her, but the delima that the dream ends in is this... should I step out of line and change her, leaving DH and our friends' and their DS in line, then rejoin them after a quick change, skip the ride that we have already waited so long for, try to make it through the ride (not really a good option)
I'm not sure were in the line I was or even what the ride was. (Being that it was a dream.)
I'm scared that this problem will come to life and I was wondering if any of you have experienced this or what you would do if you haven't? Has anyone ever changed your child, not in a bathroom, I don't mean just out in the middle of everything, but in a secluded area or with blankets covering. I have been known to change diapers in cars and I always, always, always make sure that the diaper is sealed very well in 1 or more bags if needed and then carry them with me to a designated disposal place. (note: I love those scented diaper disposal bags!)
(I just noticed that I have a lot of "two's" in this dream scenario, hope it doesn't mean anything about this pregnancy! )

Any advice would be great!

I can totally sympathize! Yes, I have changed diapers in other places besides a bathroom. If I was in the park strolling around (and no where near a bathroom) I would find a little corner area to pull in & change their diaper there. I personally don't think this is an issue, as long I don't have the child's rear out in the open for all to see! And, like you said, I dispose of the diapers properly.

As far as being in line when it happens, I would say it depends on where in line you are. I don't know if Disney does this, but at other theme parks, they have allowed one parent to stand in line while the other parent amuses the child(ren) or takes them to the potty. BUT like I said, I'm not sure what Disney's rules are on this. Maybe it depends on how long the wait is.

My son will be 2 and 1/2 when we go in October & I'm dreaming of a potty trained child by then. (ha ha ha ha ha) Now that's definitely a dream!

Actually, we almost always just fully recline our stroller and change her in there. If I can't get to a baby center, I won't do it on a public changing table in the restroom, so we use our stroller. Never had a problem, we just pull it off to the side. Have a great trip and I'm sure it will be fine!!

Since Disney is full of parents, I think most people around you would be sympathetic if you stepped out of line briefly for a quick change, then rejoined your family at the next "turn".

It's really pretty hard to rejoin your party in a number of the lines at WDW. They're designed to be interesting, and therefore, they don't just wrap around back and forth.

The best way to travel with an infant is to use FastPass and ride when the lines are shortest so that you don't spend too much time waiting in lines. In that situation, there wouldn't be time to get out line and change the diaper before the rest of your party boarded the ride.

One of the positives of only getting in short lines is that you may be able to just wait. Provided that the baby isn't smelly enough to bother people waiting around you, the diaper isn't going to overfill, and the baby isn't prone to diaper rashes, there is nothing wrong with just getting on the ride and changing the baby afterward, provided the wait won't be any longer than about 5-10 minutes.

Thanks everybody! It's nice to hear what others think!
BTW, Kermit, Jacob is a great name, it's my DH's also!

My ds is Jacob too!

that's so funny!
