Diaper bag backpack

I was wondering if anyone can recommend one? We are traveling with a baby for the first time next month and thought this would be the best option for us!

We have one by Baby Innovations. It has mesh pockets on the sides that hold bottles or cups. It is plastic lined and has a front cooler that fits 2 bottles or 2 sodas and a juice. It is a bit on the heavy side but the straps are padded..It can hold a bunch of diapers, a few changes of clothes plus a bunch of other stuff

I went out and bought what I thought was a great sling backpack diaper bag last year for our trip with our 1.5 year old son. However, 4 days into the trip I bought a backpack at DW, because I got tired of opening every zipper compartment at security. Alot of your really good baby backpacks have tons of little compartments, which are great, except when going through security. So keep that in mind. One thing that I did love about the backpack while I was using it was the insulated compartment. Because we would buy the larger one pint of milk for our son and save it in the compartment, it was cheaper than buying two little cartons.

I have a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag LOVE IT! best WDW baby bag we have ever had, we have way too many baby bags to count at this point. We got the stroller valet clips as well.

While it's really easy to use as a back pack, and let me tell you the site of my DH wearing my flowery black satin finish pack back was worth the price of it alone......It is pretty which i like so i don't really look like i am hauling work out wear or an actual 'baby bag'.

I leave the messenger bag strap in the bag when i'm using it as a back pack but find carrying it across my shoulder being able to reach into it going thru airports so I can reach in easily. I love the fold down changing pad that is zipped in the front but removeable for washing. In security it's great because while it has pockets inside for bottles on either end it is basically open and they just open it up look to the bottom and i'm thru, it's not like there's nothing in there i have a 3 yo & 1 year old i can pack a baby bag! We use the valet clips so that it doesn't suck up stroller basket space and makes it easy access for emergencies. The bag still looks great and it's been drug everywhere.

We have an eddie bauer diaper backpack which we always take to WDW and I love! It always seems to hold everything we need but its not too big and even though it has 3 compartments we've only ever had to open two at the most at security. One thing though is that on the sides it has one mesh and one kinda insulated pocket so if that's important this wouldn't be the bag for you. For the 3 compartments one is pretty much for the changing pad (comes with) and we always stuff some diapers, then a large main compartment, and a smaller one in front which we always put snacks in. We got a navy one so DH doesn't mind and usually insists on wearing it. You'd never know it was a diaper bag.

When dd was younger we used a Land's End backpack diaper bag. We have it in black and I specifically looked for a "non girly" one so dh would be comfortable carrying it as well.

It worked great, I had no complaints. It really was a regular back pack (large main compartment, middle compartment and small front zippered compartment) with two additional features... the changing pad was slipped into a pocket against your back and a separate zippered compartment on the bottom!... that is where we put the diapers and wipes.

So fast forward to kid number two and our visit to WDW last December. Ds turned 2yo during the trip and most days I just popped some diapers and a package of wipes in the back pocket of my Baggalini, and tossed the changing pad from the above diaper bag in the bottom of the stroller.

This was a TON easier to deal with. The Baggalini was large enough to toss some small toys in, as well as a back up disposable sippy cup. I don't think I would ever carry a diaper bag at WDW again!

We did take the backpack bag into the parks on our one long marathon day (rope drop at MK and then closed Epcot after evening EMH), but that was to take extra clothes with us.

I got a Lands End diaper backpack 10 years ago. Even though I haven't used a diaper bag in years, I brought it to WDW last November to use as our park bag - just the right size, and nicely padded. It's still in perfect condition.

I just looked, and they no longer make a backpack diaperbag! I'm going to keep mine for a park bag - you can't tell it's a diaperbag.

We took our Skip Hop Via Backpack when we went in August. I loved the organization. It had placed to hold lots of diapers, snacks and bottles.

When I went to WDW (my son was 5 months old) last year I used the Mickey Disneystore backback that I got on clearance from back to school. It was great! I also bought the lunch box that clips on the front. Great for storing babyfood, formula, snacks, bottle... on the outside! Easy to get to! The backpack is easy too. Only two pockets so not too many to open for security.

The bottom section of the lunch box can even hold a couple diapers and small whipes box. If you only want to take that fora short time.

Don't forget to pack something to throw down on the diaper changer and your any bag will be good to go. The simpler the better.

I have the petunia pickle bottom boxey backpack. It's nice. It's kind of big though and I don't want to ruin it. So taking it to a disney park is out of the question for me.

We actually went out and bought clear plastic backpacks. Used one as a diaper bag and all the baby stuff the other one for us and all of our junk. Security loved us for it. We didn't have to unzip anything! We handed them the bag, they felt it, spun it around and complimented us for thinking of them.
