Diamond Polynesian Isles Resort

So I've been looking around and have finally booked a resort; the Diamond Polynesian Isles Resort. Seemed nice, pix were great. Now the dish...who can tell me about this place? Is it really as nice as it seems? How close to the parks? Any tips on places to eat nearby, grocery stores, etc...Tell me about the whole enchilada!!! Please....

We stayed at the Polynesian Isles in Jan 2008. I don't recall specific grocery store or restaurant info, but there is a super walmart or a publix somewhere fairly close. As for the resort, we really enjoyed it. It was clean and quiet. The funishings seemed fairly new and in good condition. There was not a washer and dryer in the condo but there was one right outside the door, seems like 2 units shared them so they were always available when we needed it. The landscaping was very nice. The resort is gated and had a security guard at the gate 24/7. They did try to talk us into a time-share sale talk (we refused), but thats pretty standard in Orlando. It was 3 years ago but we would not hesitate to stay there again.
