Diamond Horseshoe?

Well.. I'm doing a little tweaking to my ADRs , and I put in my dates and times for the MK on the on-line reservation system, and it comes up with the recommended "available" places, and then the unavailable places.... well, The Diamond Horseshoe came up with a time available... and I was curious, since I'm no expert, but have been there a few times over the years, but didn't this restaurant close? I couldn't even bring it up to check out the menu or anything either, get reviews like every where else. Just wondering? anyone know anything about what is going on. I made a ressie, to see if it would acutally go through and I got a confirmation number. If it's going to be up, I might actually keep it, because I like the time, but can't find menus or anything on it. Anyone have any info???

It is not a permanent restaurant, it's overflow for free dining. Dinner is served family style, the exact same meal as Liberty Tree Tavern (comes from the same kitchen). They used to have a show in Diamond Horseshoe (western-style singing and magic show), but the show isn't done anymore.

Do they accept Dining plan?

Would you recommend Captains grille or Cape May Cafe?

Yes, they will accept the dining plan.

Since you are asking for a personal recommendation, I don't really like Cape May (I also don't do the buffets anymore), and I've only been to Captain's Grill for breakfast, but I'd pick it over Cape May. Others' recommendations would possibly be different. I also don't have kids.
