Diamond H, Wave or Plaza

Family with 2 kids, age 5 & 11. Looking at trying something new for dinner at MK area. We are on the dining plan.

Picked these three as we have reservations at most of the other major venues ahready.

The Wave - It's is very Non-Disney inside though so if you are looking for the Disney feel, this place isn't really it. However, the food is really good.
The Plaza - you can't go wrong. It's basic food and it's in the park. It's a go to when I don't know where to go to. lol
I have not been to DH but the reviews I've read have not been favorable. I personally would avoid just based on that. Sounds like they still have kinks to work out there.

If you want to stay in the park, the plaza. We love the shakes and sundaes. Don't let the kids order the grilled cheese. Last year, my youngest was upset that it was the same goldfish bread as the QS.

We really like The Wave. The menu is fantastic, food is so fresh and it's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

My family (DH, his grandmother, DD, and I) visited The Wave on our last trip and were really impressed! Definitely a higher quality meal for about the same price as the TS restaurants inside the MK (exactly the same price if you're on the DDP, but we were OOP with TiW).

Every single review of the Diamond Horseshoe has been bad. Don't bother with that option, Liberty Tree Tavern next door is the same price.
