We do Disney every year for our anniversary around March 5th - but we have been considering doing DCL for a while now. We did WDW this year so we're having DLR withdrawls. However, we don't want to miss the diamond celebration!

Basically, we're torn between doing DCL in 2015 and DLR in 2016 or vice versa. So, does anyone know any rumors or past facts (like from the Golden celebration) whether the anniversary will be a whole year (July 17 2015 - July 17th 2016) like a normal birthday or a calendar year (January 1 - December 31), or just a set non-year time, like a few months, or even longer than a year?

I know there is a confirmed "spring 2015" thing and we might miss the actual celebration, but we'd like to be at DLR in the best time for the diamond celebraton.

TIA!!!! :wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2:

Is there another thread on the 60th anniversary, I plan to go in June

There was this thread talking about the 60th recently:

At this point, aside from the vague "Spring 2015" date, nothing has really been announced. The guessing is that the 60th events will probably start mid-May and go through the summer (for sure) and possibly into the holiday season (maybe). My guess is that as long as you get to DLR in summer/fall, you'll probably experience the 60th anniversary events. If you wait until the holiday period (so November and beyond), some things may scale back because of the Holiday-season.
