Diamond Anniversary & WDW

With news starting to come in about how Disneyland will celebrate its Diamond Anniversary,do you think WDW will do anything for this since,of course,it can also be considered the Diamond Anniversary of Disney Parks.

I remember 10 years ago, when the Disneyland resort celebrated their Golden (50th) anniversary. At that time, WDW did have as it's theme, if I remember correctly. But of course, they didn't do anywhere near the celebration that Disneyland did. Disneyland especially had quite an event on the day of that anniversary, whereas the other parks celebrated all year.

I feel that WDW won't do anything this time. From everything rumored it seems very exclusive to Disneyland.

If you've noticed, WDW has been down playing their anniversary events, because they were felt to have less meaning after a while. (MK 25, opening AK, Millenium Celebration, 100 Yrs, all in immediate succession.)

It seems that they want to down play this one to build up to the 50th.

DHS had their 25th in May and they did basically nothing. They sold a pin and had a small ceremony with the president of DHS and a few day one CMs.

I also believe they will keep the festivities for WDW's 50th anniversary...

With that being said, wish I could be in Disneyland on July 17th 2015!!!

Me to except for the fact that it will probably be extremely crowded.

They also had the special Park Map,buttons,lots of 25th merchandise and the 25th Anniversary fireworks.

At least it would show that Anaheim is aware wdw still exists beyond the DVC offices in celebration...
