anyone know the dialing code from US to UK specifically for mobiles?

Use the + symbol then 44 and drop the 0 on the dialling code IE same way that your text message number would be.

I put all my contact numbers in my phone as international numbers (+44....) so that I can use the phone in the UK or abroard without having to think about the codes etc.
