hi all, staying onsite at royal pacific last two weeks in august, as diagon alley should be open by then i am wondering if anyone has a idea of crowd levels
been before last two weeks in august and not been too bad especially the last week also went when harry potter opened and again not as bad as feared
thanks in advance

I went August 18th-23rd last year and the crowds were alot larger than predicted and it seemed more crowded than I expected.Doable with express pass and rope drop, but by midday standby lines were 60-90+ mins. At this point no one knows what it will be like, but my GUESS is that crowds will be very heavy and very large all summer and not die-down some till AFTER labor day.

Schools are back in session so that will make it a LITTLE better the the first two weeks in August but it will still be a mad house. Staying onsite will make a big difference. A fast pass line could be 10-15mins while regular line is 1 hour or more.

Last two weeks in August 2013 were mad busy the busiest I've ever seen Universal. As long as you have early entry and express pass you will be fine but I wouldn't go without.
