Dia de los Muetros

I was wondering if any one had been to the park recently and seen if the Dia de los Muetros (Day of the Dead) display is back this year over by the Mexican restaurant?

From pictures that I've seen from this year, indeed it is!

I like it!! I think it's great to show about a different culture too!

I saw in a TR from another board that a girl (lady?) got her face painted of a calavera (skull) with flowers in it's hair near the display, I want one!!!

I have a sugar skull tattoo on my shoulder! I love them they are so colorful. I can't wait to see if the display is there for Dia de los Muertos.

YEAH!!!!!!!

I got some amazing pictures last year, but I stumbled onto it so late in the day last year I was losing light fast. I think I need to go to the park Sunday or Tuesday and go take lots of pictures!!!

BTW I want a Calavera face painting!!!!!!!

Yeah the band is back!!!! That was one of the things I wanted to reshoot and I love the sugar skulls on the altar!!! Yippee!!

Love those pics, thanks for sharing. This is not a pic of the display but a pic of my tattoo. The guy who did it is Uncle Tim from Kauai's Blue Kauai Tattoo. He is amazing, and is known for his tropical sugar skulls. I'm going to see him when he's stateside to get some more flowers around her.
