Dh's Unit will be live from Kuwait on our local ABC station tonight

I was driving home from work and they had a story on his base in Pa during the 5pm news. Then they said they would be live from Kuwait with the 111th at 6pm.

I was so excited that I almost couldn't stand the traffic being in my way. It was all I could do to make it home before 6pm. I know I have a slim chance of seeing him on TV when there are over 200 people there from his unit, but just the chance has made me so excited. I have a tape in now.

It sounds like they are calling up more of his unit to go over.

Just had to share with my new DIS family.......

Well I didn't see him on TV (although there was one person standing under a plane that had his physical features, but it wasn't close enough to tell).

It was great seeing his unit on TV though!!

I'm sorry you didn't get to see your husband. I'm glad you at least got to see his unit though, and that they are ok. Maybe he'll surprise you with another email soon.
