I called today to make sure Dh's car would be ready for me to pick up on Saturday. I felt bad even asking if it would be ready because I didn't want to be a burden on them. DH left it on base when he left for Kuwait and it got a flat. They are fixing the flat.
Tonight I had a message on my machine that they would bring it to me. That just takes a bunch of stress on me not to have to get someone to bring me to the base, and then have to bring his car home.
They gave me phone numbers of a bunch of guys who have volunteered to help all the wives out doing any kind of task big or little. I just can't believe how great these guys are!
It's nice to know people care.
Melanie- Who is off to try to relax and get some sleep - I sure need it today!
