DHS: TSM and RnR (FP+ selection)

Hi,

We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 disney infant) and our FP+ selection day is tomorrow and we're stuck!

We're not sure whether to get FP+ for TSM for both parents or separate FP+ and one does TSM and the other RnR. (going on relatively moderate day (6/10))

Question: which wait is worse? TSM 2nd time? RnR after TSM at RD?

1. If we do RD and do TSM first, by the time we finish, what would be the line-up looking like for the 2nd ride, if we go back to TSM right away? (in this case, we will be using RnR for 1 FP+ and do Rider Switch and 1 for TSM)
Benefit: our DD rides TSM 2 times (once with SB and once with FP+) and we get to ride RnR without much waiting. If TSM line-up is too long, we can go to Little Mermaid, Disney Jr. etc, right after.
Cons: DD rides TSM may not be able to ride it 3 times.

2. If we do RD and do TSM and walk to RnR and do single rider (i heard you can't get rider switch if you do single rider?) or SB and get a rider swap, how long would the line up be? (in this case, we are doing FP+ for TSM for both adults)
Benefit: our DD rides TSM 3 times.
Cons: possibility of us riding RnR with some waiting. Maybe bit of a walk to come back to see the shows in the morning.
Also, how long is the walk between TSM and RnR?

In the most general terms...
TSM, 2nd time.

R'n'RC line builds much more slowly as that ride is very intense,
and not nearly as many guests "stalk" it compared to the super-family-friendly TSM.

If you're planning on Rope Drop, head to TSMM to ride and then do a re-ride.

Split your FPs between TSMM and RnRC and use Rider Switch for RnRC.

It probably won't matter to your child whether she/he rides TSMM 2 or 3 times but this way it's possible.

Just one more question. At the RD, when can I be out of TSMM by? If I aim for 9:30 Voyages of Little Mermaid, would it be too tight?

I would do rides in that first 1-2 hours and then go to Little Mermaid later. It will allow the adults to ride ToT and Star Tours with minimal waits and will give you a cool break later in the day.

Oh! Hmm. Should we do Little Mermaid later and try to do TSM twice then?
Our plan was to use FP+ for ToT and Star Tours (each get a FP+ and do rider switch for both) in the afternoon when the child naps. Since her nap time is flexible anywhere from 1:30 - 5 for 2-3 hours (we're not going back to the resort as DD sleeps better in the stroller.), it is harder to plan for afternoon than the morning, we want to do important shows first. Esp, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast as we read to her almost every night and she loves them.
I think as long as we go to those 2 shows in the morning, we can push the other ones for after her nap.

Schedule for Little Mermaid and Beauty and see if that leaves you time to try for a 2nd TSMM. If not, you do have the FP for later.
