DHS to Wide World of Sports?

We will be at WDW in a couple of weeks and will not have a car. My husband and son plan to leave early on our Hollywood Studios day to go to a Braves & Yankees game at the Wide World of Sports. How can they get there? Are there taxis outside the parks waiting for business? Or will they need to call a taxi ahead of time?

Thanks! I've never needed a taxi at WDW before, so I've never really paid attention to if they're around or not.

Taxis start queuing up at the parks around 11 a.m.-12 noon. Earlier than that, you may have to call. The number is on signs in the taxi stand area.

BTW - the taxi stand at DHS is in the parking lot, just beyond Disney Transport bus load zone 14.

They could also take the Disney bus to Pop Century and catch a bus to EWWS from there, but they would need to allow about an hour and quarter, since the bus to EWWS only runs every half hour. A taxi would be much faster.

Our daughter's orchestra performance will be over about 2:15pm. They plan to leave after that for the 5:00 game. Sounds like that'll be just right to grab a taxi. Thanks for the help!
