Anyone tried the Sunset Blvd. options at DHS? There is Catalina Eddies (pizza & salads), Rosie's All American Cafe (burgers, chicken strips, etc.), Hollywood Scoops (ice cream...), and Anaheim Produce (fresh fruit/veggies and pretzels).

We've always had a problem getting ADRs at HS, so we try and do something quick, but we're going in a couple weeks and Star Wars Weekends is that weekend and that half of the park is crazy, so we try to go somewhere else. Any recommendations on the above locations would be great. Or if you have other suggestions. We're not fans of the Backlot Express or the Studio Catering Company because they're always so packed.

We don't like any of the food - especially Rosie's. Very bad hamburgers and veggie burgers. Don't know what to tell you - HS doesn't have the best food - but there is a hot dog vendor right in front of ToT, if you want a hot dog.

Another option would be to grab a smoothie somewhere, or maybe a muffin at the Writer's Stop.

Bummer! I was hoping to get a better review. If there's one thing I wish they'd add to HS, it's a good place to eat. There are plenty of sit down eating, but not everyone can do sit down eating or get reservations. I guess I'll try and manage with snacks and then eat back at the hotel.

I've had the pizza from Catelina Eddie's (in a combo with a salad). It's good (not super high quality but the same as all other Disney pizza and side salads).

I'd have no problems going back for lunch or dinner. It was hot, fresh, and tasty.

Anaheim Produce is a good breakfast/snack stop, especially if you want to get an early start at DHS rather than eat breakfast first at your resort. I've also heard good things about Starring Rolls, located by the Brown Derby. It serves pre-made sandwiches at lunchtime.

After a mob scene and terrible food at the ABC Commissary during Star Wars Weekend a few years ago, I promised my DH that we would do TS for lunch next time. We had a really fun, relaxing meal at Sci-Fi Dine-In (burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes) during the last Star Wars Weekend, and would definitely eat there again. It's a bit more expensive than CS, and it may be hard to get a ADR this close to your travel time, but it's something to consider.

Pizza at Catalina Eddie's is good and they get it out pretty quick.
