In my opinion..and mine only:

The cupcakes were to die for! We had the red velvet cheesecake one and it lasted 2 seconds, lol. But, we also had the Turkey sandwich...this I was a little disappointed in. Maybe it was just me, but the mozzarella on it kind of made it soggy, and there was just no flavor...very bland. It could very well have been a bad sandwich day, just my opinion :thumbsup2

Had one 2 weeks ago. My DD and I got 1 choc/peanut butter and 1 red velvet....we split them in half and each had a half. They were both good but the red velvet was the winner by a mile.

They also have a butterfinger cupcake. It is choc cake with vanilla frosting covered in butterfinger crumbs.

The Butterfinger cupcake is also to die for! Yummy butterfinger crumbly stuff on top, and surprise yummy chocolate ganache inside...
:thumbsup2

Heheh, I'm glad that you actually provide the description there. Most people don't... and that lead me to believe it really was a butterfinger cupcake, when it's really double chocolate butterfinger cupcake. It's a good cupcake to be sure, but the Butterfinger kinda gets lost in all the chocolate to us.

The cupcake is DIVINE!!! In fact, here is DD2 trying to tell me she woundn't share it with me.

I still got a few bites!!! :goodvibes

We like both sandwiches, breakfast items & cupcakes from here. Just be forewarned, it's very small in there, the line is usually out the door, and once they sell out of something, it's gone. There is limited outdoor seating only. They also close early - depending on park closing anywhere from 2-6pm. So if you're getting some cupcakes to take back to the room don't wait too long. Last trip we went in around 2pm & there were maybe a total of 4 cupcakes left.

Best cupcake I ever had!

I didn't get to try the red velvet, they were out. Will try next.

I didn't have the choc-pb, but my mom and I split the red velvet and it was unreal--a definite do!

Went a couple of weeks ago and had a turkey sandwich and strawberry parfait. I really enjoyed this meal!

I understand you can get the same cupcakes at DisneyQuest in DTD. We didn't try them but they certainly looked the same.

Near as I can tell, ALL the cupcakes are good.

We think this is a great use of a CS meal credit, so long as you are doing a reasonably early lunch. Overstuffed ham or turkey sandwich on lovely bread, plus a side item (BIG bag of chips or a piece of fruit), plus your standard beverage, plus anything from the pastry display for dessert.

To a prior poster - yes, DQ has several of the same cupcakes; that was where I had my first Butterfinger cupcake last year. This year when we ate at Starring Rolls DH and I were careful to pick different cupcakes so that then we could split them both. My favorite was the Red Velvet.

Biggest problem is that the location closes early, and can run out of some items even earlier than that. Sandwiches can be gone for the day by 2:00.

I agree. Why they have so few tables I'll never know. Also, it is a little confusing in there. Not a straight line so to speak and There alsways seems to be people standing in the center a little confused where to go making it even more crowded.

Just wanted to say that TaraPa is absolutely correct. My daughter wanted a cup of coffee last month and we went to Starring Rolls just as it was closing. We were the last customers. She was able to get her coffee but there were people trying to get it. They close VERY early IMHO, way too early before official park closing. I wish they were opened later, but again just my opinion. I did not get anything to eat this trip but I have had the cupcakes in the past and yes they are very good. As TaraPa said, just a warning to people to not wait until they are heading out of the park. Go early.

Enjoy The Magic!!

I saw the cupcakes at Disney Quest and yes, they looked AMAZING and identical to the ones at Starring Rolls.

BTW, I tried the butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls. It was good, but not the best i've ever had. I loooove cupcakes, and icing, and peanutbutter w/ choc combo. But this didnt knock my socks off. But it was good thou, worth trying, and definitely share as its HUGE!
