Does anyone know what rides at DHS open early if guest are allowed in before the official opening time (9am for us in June on an evening EMH day).

Do the following rides open if they let guests in at 8:45?

1. Star Tours
2. Great Movie Ride
3. Muppetvision

We are going to do FP+ for RnRC, ToT, and Indy Show, since we only have until about 1pm at the park our last day, and we don't need to do TSMM.

The rides we want to do are:
1. Start Tours (twice if possible)
2. Great Movie Ride
3. Muppetvision
4. RnRC
5. ToT
6. Indiana Jones Stunt Show

Any touring advice would also be much appreciated!! THANKS!! :flower3:

In our experience, even though they start letting people in around 8:45 for a 9 AM opening, only TSMM starts operating before 9 AM.

You shouldn't have any trouble doing the things you listed before 1 PM, even without FP. But, if you don't have any other use for FPs that day, you might as well use them.

I wouldn't get a FP for both TOT and RNRC if you are only going to do each once. I would go directly to TOT when the park opens and ride that without a FP because you won't need one. Then you can go to RNRC. You probably won't need one there that early either (especially if you are willing to use the single rider line). But, if you have one with a 9-10 return time that will guarantee getting you on as quickly as possible.

Then you can go to the GMR and finally head to the area near Star Tours. Because ST, IJ, and Muppetvision are all in the same area, you can do all of those in some order depending on the waits and the start time of the IJ show.

There is almost never a wait for Muppetvision. Your wait (between 5 and 15 minutes) will depend on when the previous show lets out.

Hope this helps.

Only Toy Story Mania is open before 9. There are lots of ways your touring could be done but you could get a FP+ for RnR, ToT and Great Movie Ride. Then you could easily do Star Tours a few times in the first hour (ride Toy Story Mania when the park opens early if you want but I didn't see TSMM on your list), then MuppetVision, then use your FP+ and fit in Indiana Jones.

with Tower of Terror and get a FP+ for RRC. Star Tours is almost a walk on early in the morning. RRC did not start early on our rope drop day last summer. Muppets is the same. I do not know about GMR since we do that in the early afternoon. It is not a long wait even then. Indiana Jones will probably not have a show until later in the morning. Even then it is fairly easy to get in close to the show.

so if TSMM is the only ride that opens early, I guess we'll just get RnRC and ToT out of the way at official opening, then do the others.

But I hate to miss the FP+ opportunities. Maybe since its' the third weekend in June, we should do FP+ for RnRC, ToT, and GMR like a PP suggested.

Well, on second thought, at rope drop it's probably an even quicker choice to just do those two rides quickly, RnRC and then ToT.

Thanks for the replies. This is helping me get it all straight in my head:

1. ToT
2. RnRC FP+ 9-10
3. Star Tours x2
4. Muppetvision
5. GMR FP+ 10-11
6. early lunch or muffins at Starring Rolls
7. Indiana Jones FP+ for 12 or 12:30 show
