DHS & Osborne lights on 12/18?

The only night we can see the Osborne lights is 12/18 and I see they are not offering the dessert party. We don't necessarily want the dessert party but am wondering if there is something special going on that night that would affect see the Lights?

Does anybody know anything?

The Star Wars fireworks, "Symphony In The Stars: A Galactic Spectacular” starts nightly show on December 18. They have been one of the best in the past so I expect it to be crowded. It could be at some point the lights area closes as it might be a fallout zone.

Also MK has MVMCP this day so others not wanting to purchase extra tickets may be looking to go to another park.

this is the reason, fireworks fall out
Months ago they decided to offer SYmphony in the Stars on the 18th (official date that Force Awakens comes out) as a surprise, so they decided not to offer the dessert party because of fireworks fall out.
Just recently they decided to keep the fireworks nightly starting on the 18th and this is why the closing times for DHS have changed and extended with the fireworks being late, giving time for the dessert party to finish and clear out.
The light will still be on until park closing

So the O-Lights won't stay lit for the traditional "Bonus Hour" on those nights,right?

that's what I don't know, I'm planning on going over tomorrow evening and asking the Osborne cast. On the schedule the lights show closing at 10pm with a park closing time of 11pm. And later in Dec. closing at 11pm with the park closing at midnight
