DHS help planning my day

Is it normal to be down for almost an hour?
Very normal, unfortunately. The ride is so long and has so many components it takes them a long time to reboot when something is malfunctioning, and it is glitchy so that happens often. We had BG2 on our last trip and didn’t get to ride until after noon because of all the ride issues (late start, had to leave while in line the first time due to tech issues, had more downtime while in lone second attempt).

Yeah unfortunately the way the ride is configured, it usually takes 70 minutes to reboot. Not sure if they've narrowed that down in the last year, but I remember a year ago that's how long it'd be down and it broke a lot more back then.

If you were planning on hoping to another park at 2pm would you do SDD or MMRR first?

Just came here to say that I was at HS on Tuesday. Park open was scheduled for 9a. Parking opened at 8:15a. We were riding Rockin’ Rollercoaster at 8:40 and then walked straight onto Tower Of Terror. It definitely got busy by 10a.

I also was at HS on Tuesday. We walked over from Swan/Dolphin arriving a little before 8. We were 2nd in line at the temp screening (the ones by the skyliner) The line for those that drove in was long. They let us in at 8:15. We went to SDD first and walked right one. Did TS, MMR, RRC, Frozen Singalong and Star Tours by 11:30. We had boarding group 63 and like others said it was down all morning. We decided to go back to our resort for lunch and then headed back. Lines were long when we arrived back and we did stupidly wait 80 minutes for ToT but it all worked out bc our bg was called just as we got off ToT.
