DHS Construction View from Air

Great picture...and it shows just how TINY the guest area at mgm is and how they have plenty of space to add on for quite some time...

If the customer makes them do it.

Not all of that space cleared will be for the two lands there is designated space for future expansion if they do choose to do that.

This was a commercial flight SWA from MCO to AUS.

I've taken this flight several times but this was the first time we've flown over WDW that I've ever seen.

I saw "the Eye" Wheel and realized by triangulation that we were headed towards WDW so turned on my camera on my phone (still in airplane mode), and took pics.

Very cool.

Awesome-- great photos-- way to be on top of things....

Well, I was bummed to see the race track go. However the picture shows how that new flyover and gate bypass project fits into the decision to kill off the track. That mysterious transportation project is finally coming to be.
The photo also illustrates to me just how prime that space is between the Poly and the Contemporary. I know the land is difficult to build on, but I think it would be worth it. I wonder if truly is just too expensive to overcome or whether the "right" project just hasn't come along yet. I still think that space would have been a better location for a Downtown Disney/Disney Springs area.

As soon as they can charge $300 per DVC point...that land will all of a sudden become "more stable"

The space just screams for a "Boardwalk" style place. That way you can stroll to the park when the transportation fails.
