DHS and late hours

We're going to be at DHS at the end of August which is Regular season so hopefully a little slower.

DHS is open until midnight (not EMH). Touring plans is giving the crowds a 5/10.

What are the chances of rising Aliens and Slinky late at night with not much wait?

Curious about seeing midnight without EMH since my MDE app only shows til 10:30

AFAIK, DHS has not been open past 10:30 (other than later EMH) since TSL opened.

SDD waits 30 and less have been possible in the last half hour.

(I rode SDD 2x entering at 10:10..but it was drizzling after heavier rain)

Aliens can be a different issue since they have been known to shut off 1 side after 8:30 and then the line is super slow if most go to FP+ in even low capacity mode.

Friday, August 24th is the date we are going. We do have a 2nd day there as well.
I scored a FP for Slinky later in the week but not the 24th. Also don't have one for Aliens as the teens didn't want one.

My MDE app is showing 10:30p-12:30 pm EMH on Aug 24. (And on most Fridays)

Oh I didn't realize it was EMH. Hmm so it is. Not sure why I didn't notice that before.

So how busy will it be? I'll try and check the Lines app the next few Friday nights after 10.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t an EMH at DHS the 1st Friday in July (they might have allocated some extra hours to July 4th?)

Before TSL, DHS was my favorite EMH Park. RnR and ToT would have short lines during the 1st F! And then it was possible to get TSMM a few times after then.

The Aliens line should move a bit better during EMH (no FP+) and since TSL waits have been reasonable at the end of normal days, I think you should be OK, but keep looking for reports of others that get to experience a DHS EMH.

We did DHS last night. We rode all 3 rides in standby from 8:45 to 10:30. We did AS2 first (40 minutes), TSM second (40 minutes) and were in line for Slinky at 10:20 and out at 11:15.

In short, started with heavy crowds, ended with a whimper, posted times quite a bit higher than actual (specifically, SDD).

I’m not usually an EMH person but was glad we tried it that night. TSL at night is not to be missed, in my opinion.
