Can one see fantasmic and the Osborne lights in the same night?

Which one would be first?
Planning on doing a fast pass to fantasmic or the dining package

Yes. They typically keep the lights on for about an hour after official park closing, and since you're doing the dining package, I would say do Fantasmic first.

Yes easily. It's not difficult to do as the Osbourne lights are periodically going after sunset around (6:30/7), until the park closes and you leave. It's not like you have to rush to Osbourne lights with a start time. Do Fantasmic whenever you'd like, then either before or after just stroll over to streets of its USA and watch the lights

F! Dining package is for first showing only, so OP has now option on which time to go if they choose this option.

Based on the OP's ticker, they're going Thanksgiving week, and at least for now, there's only one showing per night that week.

I feel bad sticking around that long, but the lights are going and it really is the best time to see them.

Yes we are going nov 29th to dec 5...going to universal before Disney.
What day would be best... We arrive Sunday after thanksgiving. I was thinking maybe that Sunday

We visit WDW every year during Thanksgiving week. This is an early announcement of hours, but usually there are two Fantasmic shows during that week. We like to see the Osborne lights when they turn on, then we grab a quick dinner and see the later Fantasmic show. We never need to get in line more than 1/2 before the second show.

I don't. They keep them on that long so that people don't have to miss them if they go to Fantasmic. Plus I would assume that on nights when there's only one showing that they're not getting a lot of people at the lights during the show, and there's not much point in having the lights if not many people are going to be able to see them.
