DH Vent here...

My DH (and I don't mean darling either) just informed me tonight that he bought one of those mini motorcycles from a work contact. I am so pissed.

I knew the guy was trying to sell it to him, but we had discussed it and I told him no way. We have Christmas coming and our Feb vacation to be saving for. The guy first wanted $175 for it and now I guess is desperate to get rid of it and offered it to DH for $50. So DH said yes. UGH! I couldn't believe it. He's going to look like a gorilla on it as he is 6'1" and 260 pounds. What makes me even madder is that we just spent $$$ putting new tires on the Suburban and of course he couldn't just replace them...he had to upgrade to BIGGER tires to make it more AGGRESIVE. ***??? I drive the darn thing...I could care less about looking aggresive! If it gets me to work and the grocery I'm pretty happy. I sure hope we have a boat load of snow this winter to make it worth while. Thanks for listening... and when he gets the thing I'll be sure to take a photo...I'm sure it will be worth a GOOD LAUGH!

BTW, I think you should take that picture and e-mail to all of his friends and co-workers, as well as show all of your DIS friends - that'll teach him.

Believe me, he can spend $50 very easily on crap and somehow always manages to find some sort of justification for doing it. But there is no reason to buy a mini motorcycle. We don't have kids(not that I'd let them ride it), and it's not even street legal! So he's going to be riding down the sidewalk looking like an idiot! This isn't my DH but tell this doesn't look DUMB???
