DH Threw me a surprise 40th birthday party!

I really wanted to do something for my 40th but wasn't sure what. I even suggested we hosted a holiday open house on my birthday with the stipulation no gifts. He just said no I have something planned. As time went on I thought it was a small dinner party with our closest friends I never dreamed the number of people he invited!
On Sat. I had to leave the house for most of the day. When I came home the house was filled with about 60 people and 24 KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He did a great job! I was amazed at all he did!

I am so pleased you had a nice surprise dear and I hope you had a wonderful birthday. If I had returned home to find 24 kids in my house I would have had a nice surpirse for Cuthbert

I really didn't realize how many kids were there till the party was over! LOL and went up to my kids rooms LOL! all the kids were under the age of 12 the youngest being 17 months!
But it was tons of fun and great to have most of friends in one place!
Camcolt let me know what your DH reply is! Who know there is always next year! And by the way Happy birthday!

Awww that is so sweet! Most men would not even attempt to put something like that together, much less a big party like he had for you!
