Just a little funny/cute note from my DH. We were at POP from 4/22-4/30 and all I talked about for the past year is all the Disers and the lime shirts. I had my shirt on 4/23(Sat at MK) and we did not see any Disers :confused3. My DH started to look too and by the end of the week he said it must be you and maybe 2 other people  He was actually disappointed. He wants to know
"where did everyone go and do you exists" It is all in my mind :rotfl2:

Great time at POP! It was magical :wizard:

I was there from the 25-30th staying at POR, but I guess we didn't cross paths. I didn't have on a DIS shirt, but every day I sported my DIS button (where a name tag would go) and also had a DIS keychain and laminated Home Depot Mickey head on my backpack. 5 DISers including one with whom I am familiar (catsrule), 2 CM's (John46 in the MK bakery and another one at AK), CanadianTourGuide, and another DISER whose name I have forgotten spotted me and said hi. Sorry no one saw your shirt :(. I didn't see anyone with DIS stuff on, but I was looking. Every lime green thing a person has on in the parks jumps out at me as potential DIS identification marking :teeth:. Unfortunately it is a very POPULAR shirt color.

I spot DISers on most trips. In early December there were so many DISers there that I had to not go up to some because I was so busy with my other DIS friends ::yes::.

Unfortunately you can go some trips w/o seeing any. It could be your reason to go back for another trip soon :) . Also before your trip you could check the meet board to see if anything is planned in WDW during your trip.

I look for lime green too. I have never spotted any that appear to be DIS board identifying. I've never worn a lime green ribbon myself. I'm heading over Thursday - I'll keep my eyes open.

I was at WDW from April 20 to 29 and found KristaTX and two CM at the Kil Safari ride who are Disers.
I did not see any of the Dis members who were staying at CSR.
I think Dis people are harder to find than Hidden Mickeys.

:goodvibes :goodvibes :cool1:

Hi there, cdntourguide :wave2:. I was hoping to run into you on the boards. Glad you posted - obviously I spelled out "Canadian" and might have had a hard time finding you with Search. It was a pleasure meeting you in Mexico :).

I'm not sure I officially qualify as a "DIS'er" but I just can't wear lime green, especially not at WDW, if I wear my hair back and wear the colors lime green, yellow, or gray...I look like a male alien...scary. LOL Seriously I didn't pick up on the wearing of the lime green til I came back from Spring Break. I did dress my daughter in a lime green t-shirt one day. Maybe next time I should get a couple of white Tshirts and put the words "LIME GREEN" on them :rotfl:

That would actually be sooooo hilarious :teeth:. If I saw someone with a non-green t-shirt with the words "LIME GREEN" on it, I would go up to them, laugh, and ask if they were a DISer ::yes::. It would be pretty obvious and funny.

I don't like to wear lime green clothing, either. So I just stick with the buttons, Mickey heads, etc.

I just got back, and for the 1st time, I actually met another DISer wearing the official lime green shirt! I met the other DISer at the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride. It was only a very brief hello since we both had kids running in different directions, but still neat to see someone finally! The DISer I met was from San Diego and she said she rarely posts, but still pretty cool to see someone! I guess DISers really exist out there! :)

I was at Pop from April 25-28 and had my lime green hat on most of the time. I also had lime green ribbons on my backpack. I looked for others to but never saw anyone...lol! I guess we never crossed paths. I had hoped to meet at least a few DISers.

Go to the DIS meets board, next time and find a meet to attend. Once you meet some DISers, it seems like you run into them everywhere. Right, Krista?

Yep, Katholyn. It's kind of like looking for hidden Mickeys - you start seeing them everywhere :teeth:.
