DH thinks I've gone off the deep end

I mentioned last night that I bought a small clipboard to take on the trip with us. I also bought a black and a red Sharpie, and I'm going to put cardstock on the clipboard for character autographs. We have 4 character meals planned, so I expect to get all the autographs I need for the Disney scrapbook.

DH thinks I'm nuts and that I've finally "gone too far" with my Disney planning . Wait until I cut out some character head outlines with my Cricut so I can get autographs on those shapes, too I suppose he doesn't need to know that I am color coordinating mine and the kids' clothing so we look good in group photos

I leave in just 3 days and I have also cut out white cardstock (4x6), so I can get the characters siggies too, to put into my scrapbooks. LOL LOL LOL

Great minds think alike. For the record, I know my DH KNOWS I've gone off the deep end.....But I think he's just gotten to the point of just accepting it.

He figures.....if I'm happy----------the rest of the household is happy.

That's just ONE thing he doesn't need to know My DH kept saying I was over-planning, but he admitted I was right to do so when we not only did the things we wanted but had alternatives available when things went wrong (like 3 of us getting sick - not altogether tbut on 3 different days just to really mess it up )

Now he can't understand why people don't plan....as long as you don't ask him to do it!

My kids just roll their eyes now when I get in planning mode. However they know how much it pays off and DD is a little planner as well.

Both of you have a safe trip! We leave in less than a month! I still need to do my clipboard and get all my tags organized. It's raining today so maybe I'll work on that after my swap items are done.

Planner here too! when we did our 2005 WDW/DCL I found the DISsers and spent at least 2 hours a day reading over EVERYTHING, even though we had been to WDW before there was still a bunch of stuff I found out about. my DH gave me a bad time too, but in the long run I think they appreciate our "hard work" crusing the boards .

I helped friends plan their first trip and her DH was hating us because we were on the phone, e-mailing, or at each others houses every day. But he was singing my praises by the time we got there! Their trip was a breeze all because of a little planning.

I know he thinks my trip planning is a little over the top, but he also knows that my research pays off in the end.....and all he has to do is show up and pay for everything.

After so many trips - my husband is past thinking I'm nuts and on to acceptance. Last trip we wore matching shirts one day then he and DS matched the next and then DS and I matched the next. We have 3 sets for next trip! He didn't even blink. He also supported and assisted with my instane autograph book where I printed out a page for each character plus one separate book for world showcase and bound it all!

My BF questioned my making ADRs for free dining last year 180 days out. When we got there and saw group after group turned away because they didn't have ADRs he was thanking me again and again

DS6 wanted to eat at Akershus, that day! I was standing in line at the check in counter while on the phone with WDW dining. I get to the podium and they are telling me there is nothing available they are turning people away left and right. Well WDW dining had an opening in 15 minutes. Needless to say we got in.

I plugged the WDW dining # in my phone before we left home. And it worked like a charm!

So I have convinced my son (6), husband and father in law that they must deal with the 'pretty girls' walking around so mommy can eat some norweigan food! Doesn't hurt that I may get to see Belle in her yellow dress if I happen on the right time and day she is at the entrance! Now I can tell him I 'know' another boy that ate there huh?
