DH still wants DDP

My DH is the same way OP, if I bring up the subject, he just says he wants the dining plan. It's not that bad of a deal for us since we have 3 disney kids so I can make it work to our advantage. However, if we weren't doing it, I could make it work to our advantage as well. The only thing that concerns me with the DDP is making it to the ADR's - I'd hate to miss a fp opportunity.

Sorry if this is frequently discussed, but on average when does Disney offer half off the deluxe plan?? I've never heard of this or seen it advertised but we would definitely be interested. Thanks!
