it's for 8:50 and we have 3 kids 9,6, and 4. What was I thinking!?

I actually have a plan though... dh's parents are joining us for the trip... I think I may send them off to watch Illuminations while we enjoy dinner :teeth: They wont' mind that I'm SURE right?

Ugh. All other ADRs are for right at 5:00 which is perfect for us.

Hmmmmmm...

Dh is excited about finally doing LeCellier though...

Hoooooray!

Don't give up you never know. Check every few days from home & when you check in. Although I must say I like your 2nd plan also ;)

I like your second plan as well, as long as the ILs don't mind.

I too have been trying to get reservations for Sept at Le Cellier. I was only able to get a late dining time as well. I have been call every week, but haven't had luck yet. I am going to keep trying, you never know. All our other ADRs are around 5. We have a 2 1/2 and a 1 year old, so I too am afraid of a late dinner.

Keep trying for an earlier time. People are cancelling ADR's all the time. Good luck! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

I am happy you got your reservation and as others have said keep trying for an earlier ressie, or do plan 2, which would be nice for dinner for the two of you...or go as a family at the time you were given and enjoy.

You know I bet the inlaws WOULD take the kids... hmmmmmm. :D

Thanks for the input. Now to call the MIL... :lmao:

I know it may not be what you were thinking and may change your plans a little bit but maybe you could get reservations fo rlunch instead of dinner. They offer the same menu and you usually can get a reservation. We made no advanced reservations when we were there in May but I wanted to make a return trip to Le Cellier. We checked on for any canceled reservations for dinner but the nice girl at the counter said they overbook by 20% anyway so cancellations are not all that common. Instead of dinner we opted for a 1:45 lunch which worked out perfectly. I can eat that perfect filet mignon any time of the day!!! Good luck!

Okay last year we also were at WDW eating for free and I called for three months and didn't even get a lunch time ADR. Well on our third day there I just stopped in at Le Cellier and lo and behold their lunch time was wide open all week. The disney dinning that I had called must not get all of the time slots. We did lunch on a Sunday at 11:30am and it was great. There were hardly any people there and the wait was all of 5 minutes. We even told them about our anniversary and we got the cutest "moose" dessert. This year I started calling earlier and still couldn't get a dinner there due to the wine festival (the only bad thing about going to WDW during that time). I really think that the festival puts holds on dinner due to the packages people buy. But I got lunch this time at two tables but as soon as we get to WDW on September 30, I will go by Canada and try to get more ressies. I did try the phone dinning when we got there but no luck. I advise going by there in person. Also it is a dark restaurant so you really can't tell that it is light outside and the food was so awesome, especially since it is free. Make sure to get dessert here and the cpotato soup. If you have kids they will love their desserts because they look like a moose. Hope this helps.

pirate: I just had the same problem. I tried to make an ADR for 6 on 10/28. The only thing available was at 8:30pm. We have three children, 4, 5, and 9, in our party. I guess I can try again another day. Maybe we'll have more luck getting an earlier ADR.
