DH Lost His Member ID Card!

We are leaving Thursday so I am in the final packing stages. I asked DH if he has his DVC member ID card and, of course, he has no idea where it is.

So, my question is...is there anything in particular that he will need HIS card for? I have mine and we are not really planning on doing anything separately. If he does need one, is there anywhere I could go to get him a new one?

It's kind of funny....when he finally caved in and agreed to buy in, we received our ID cards and he said, "Hold onto it...that's a $10,000 card there!" So, when he misplaced his, he says, "Well, I guess we'll just have to buy another 100 points so I can get a new one, huh?"...If only that comment hadn't been dripping with sarcasm.

He can get a replacement card at the DVC Preview Center @ SSR.

Same thing happened to us. DH had no idea where his card was but I had mine. We never ran into a situtation where he needed his card. However, most of the discounts we received were from the AP. He did need to show that sometimes (when he remembered to ask for the discount that is...). Although, we never tried to pool hop either - although his room key should show DVC member and he shouldn't need his member card. Good luck and have a great vacation!!!

My DH does not know where his card is either...b/c he does not know he has one... (I know, sorry...I hate jokes that make men look stupid and women controlling, but I really could not resist! Sometimes there is truth behind the sterotype.)

He is perfectly happy letting me make all of the plans and my type A personality loves it...he loves to come along for the awesome vacation!!!

At home, we keep our DVC cards and AP's in our safe in the envelope with our titles. That way we always know where they are.

Ah yes excellent idea...however DH lost his card AT wdw on this last trip. I called member services to send out a new one and we got it in about two weeks. Another however................................it was a replacement card for ME! LOL LOL

We have a DVC portfolio we won at Welcome Home Wed. Its tucked away with our AP's, DVC cards and Big River Grill rewards card. Now if it was only Oct.

I never let my DH carry his. I have both of them.

My DH has lost his twice, the first time was just a few days before a trip, we called our guide left a message letting him know when we would arrive and where we were staying, a new card was waiting for us at check in. The second time I called MS and we received it in the mail a few weeks later. DH is no longer allowed to have his member ID.
